We booked a site here based on internet research. Upon arrival, we were a bit disappointed in the size of the site (small and cramped). We eventually had so much fun tubing the river and enjoying other area activities that the site just didn't matter anymore, the location and the area is amazing. The shuttle stop is just outside the park so there is no need to drive anywhere. Bring some water shoes and tubes with you unless you want to pay a premium price in town.

Room Tip: No sewer on the sites along the river and you will likely have others walking through your site for river access.

There are many negative reviews for this campground so we were skeptical. The campground is fine. We had no problem checking in, friendly helpful staff. They let us walk around and choose a site. The hookups were complete. We did not use the bath facilities so no comment there. The only problem with the front desk is that when they ask the size of your RV they don't take into account the length of the tow vehicle so you could end up with a site that is too small for your rig and parking your tow vehicle. We had a hard time explaining that we needed a larger site to accommodate parking our truck. Many complaints state that the sites are small. This could be because about half of the park is side by side hookups. This means that your front door faces your neighbors front door so you don't have a lot of privacy. We camped here in a fifth wheel

Ask for a site next to the Virgin River - F1-F6. Showers can be barely warm and last a stingy six minutes. The best part is that it is close to the Zion NP entrance whose campgrounds are usually full.

Only plus is convenient to Zion Natl Park bus shuttle and within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. only cold water to wash dishes. bathrooms are dirty, no paper towels - one power dryer, warmer than the shower water. showers are 6 minutes (timed) you are given one token a day for a lukewarm shower. very slow internet. would never stay here again.

Room Tip: we stayed in campsite w/rv - no children, didn't use pool

the location was the best thing about this campsite, everything else was just average. they gave us tokens for the showers but didn't tell me that the token only gives 6minutes, so I was left with conditioner in my hair. when I complained to the office they were not sympathetic at all, and in fact made fun of me for needing more than 6minutes in the shower (and this was the top manager. I haven't seen such poor people skills in a long time). the toilets were very poor, not clean and three toilets were blocked off with plywood covered in dust and trash. the sites were very close together, difficult to maneuver in and out of and very much right on top of each other. I wish we had managed to get a booking at watchman campground instead
