The facilities are nice but not worth the price of around $200/night. When we arrived, the staff was rude and didn't have answers for questions. They were explaining some unwritten rules to other guests. The area around our room smelled like marijuana, and there were beer bottles on the lawn. There were lots of little dogs barking.
Our room faced a dirt hill even though the place wasn't that busy, and we had advanced reservations. The pool are is gated off, which is good for families with small wandering children. However, it was crowded in the pool even in the morning.
The vicinity is very touristy. The tree line sidewalks made it shady to walk around to restaurants. there are not many places to eat, and I couldn't find a grocery store to buy water and snacks.
I would suggest staying in St George. The town is bigger with lots of options for eating out and even a Costco too. The La Quinta there is inexpensive compared to this location.
