Real friendly staff, nice and big rooms and amazing views. They even helped us change our booking through booking.com, who, by the way, weren't cooperative at all. Advice: book direct with the hotel, which we actually should have known beforehand as well..

Here at Majestic View Lodge, we are more than willing to assist our guests when any issues that pop up. It is all too frustrating to see our guests have to deal with the confusion of not booking direct. We are glad that we were able to resolve the issue with booking.com and hope that you will return sometime in the future! Remember to book direct either through our website or by phone.

The name gives away your first impressions. Most people get out of their car and go Whoo!. Our hotel room had a fantastic view of the mountains and swimming pool.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very good for breakfast and evening meal. The breakfast staff always had a smile on their faces. The food was good and varied and priced very good.
The position of the hotel is great for seeing the canyon and the shuttle bus stopped opposite the hotel.I would stay here again any time I was in the area

Our lodge is located right at the very entrance of Springdale, UT. The lodge sits upon a hill that gives our guests quite a view into Zion Canyon rather than having to look up the canyon walls much like the other hotels in town. We are elated that your experience was so joyful. We hope that you will consider us for future trips to Zion National Park.

We stayed 3 days 2 nights at the Majestic View Lodge while visiting the Zion National Park. The Majestic View Lodge is quiet, clean, and peaceful. I booked our room directly with the hotel (hotel website) and received a good rate. The room was clean with ample space for two people and it comes with a nice balcony (2nd floor). Room amenities include free WIFI and a fridge. There is also a decent restaurant on premise. Hotel guests (with a coupon) receive 10% off to the gift shop and the restaurant. Interesting enough there is also a wildlife taxidermy museum located within the lodge (next to the hotel lobby). I have never seem so many animal taxidermy concentrated in one location before in my life. The North American Wildlife Museum certainly rivals the Natural History Museum in New York City. Plus the admission to this museum is FREE. It's worth seeing unless you are an animal lover. Our hotel check-in (around 5 PM) was friendly, swift, and professional. The hotel swimming pool was refreshing but the hot tub jet wasn't working during our stay. The lodge uses Dish as their in room cable tv provider but it does not offer ESPN. Be advised the 2nd floor does not have an elevator, be sure to request a room on the 1st floor if you have an issue walking or lifting. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Majestic View Lodge while visiting the Zion National Park.

Thank you for your comments. We are terribly sorry for the hot tub issue. You are also very right upon requesting a lower floor room if you cannot carry your luggage upstairs. We are more than willing to work with our guests with any concerns or issues they may be facing. We hope that you may return in the future.

This hotel certainly lives up to its name. Our room was across the road, on the top level, right outside the stop for the free bus into the town.
We had a good view of the mountains from our room balcony, but nowhere near as magnificent as the view from the dining room of the restaurant. Try to go in there when the sun is setting, and take your time over your meal in order to enjoy the changing colours of the mountains. The food might be a touch pricey, but it’s of a really good quality and the service is excellent.
Fortunately, there was an efficient air con system in our room because when we were there, temperatures were in the high 80s, low 90s.
The hotel staff were very helpful, pleasant and gave us plenty of information -- I had no reason at all to doubt their integrity -- but not even they will be able to resolve the issue of a one hour time difference between Utah and Arizona. Baffling.
We liked the gift shop and museum in the hotel. Sometimes a gift shop is just a few touristy items, but there’s a huge amount more to choose from in quite a large area.
The whole area is magnificent – especially the drive to the town from the east down the switchback and through the tunnel – and this hotel isn’t out of place.

Room Tip: Great room on top deck across the road, right next to the shuttle stop.

We travel a lot and have only come across 1 other room that was this nice. Great views, clean, good restaurant and easy shuttles to the park. We hung out by the pool because the park was crazy busy however after 5 it calms down and the shuttle is right across the street

This hotel us situated near the entrance to Zion among the common scenery of the area. Reception and registration was easy. The restaurant on premises is opened til nine PM,was a bit pricey. Dinner for two- $80' breakfast for two -$25. The room had a funny chemical odor, probably from the cleaning products. But it was clean.

We stayed at this hotel for one night in a room across the street from the main lodge. There was a good mountain view from the patio in the back of the room. The room was clean, nice, and spacious, and we were very happy with the room.

I would love to give this hotel a rating of 5. However, I have to take away one point from the rating because of its staff's honesty. The reason is that I forgot and left a gold necklace with a green jade pendant on the room's TV counter when we checked out of the hotel. The house-keeping lady was waiting for us at the front door when we left the room. Therefore, she was the first one who walked into our room right after we left. I called the hotel in the same evening and the following morning to inquire about my lost item. I was told that no such thing was turned it and that they would notify me if my lost item was found. It has been 5 days and no call has been received from them. It was my fault for not thoroughly looking around the room before checking out of the hotel. I would stay at this hotel again in the future, but I will definitely be very careful with my belongings ...
