This place was a good choice for us! The room was a bit small but the location was amazing! We had a balcony with ridiculous views, and walking distance to Zion's national park! It is pricey but I feel it was worth it. The breakfast was good. No complaints here! Only wish they had some gluten and free dairy free options, my daughter had to eat breakfast in the room. Bummer to have food allergies on the road!

Stayed for 1 night in June, and had the most wonderful time. The suite was fantastic (thank you to the management team for the upgrade) with a great view of the canyon. The hummingbirds that came to the balcony, and the deer that fed in the morning were a pleasure to watch. The grounds were very well kept, with a lovely walk to the river. Staff were very friendly, and the hot breakfast really set us up for the day. We will be visiting again for longer next time we are in America.
Thank you to all at Cliffrose Lodge.

Situated at the entrance to Zion National Park, we were in a great spot to walk to the visitors center. We woke up to beautiful vistas of red cliffs. Every morning there was an amazing, full breakfast to start our day. We were a group of seven plus a baby and The beds and room accommodations were exceptionally clean and relaxing. The staff promptly met every need we had and were extremely friendly and courteous. We will be back!

What a beautiful place this is.
The rooms are good sized, and everything looks and smells really clean. Staff is super friendly and willing to help, and the pool is just perfect! The breakfast in the mornings is in the gardens of the lodge, and cooked fresh for the buffet. Coffee tasted really good, and the surrounding is great, with the great mountains of Zion as a backdrop.

Absolutely a highly recommended place to go to of you need a place to stay when visiting Zion NP.

We are 2 of a party of 4 from Canada that stayed here July 10,11,12/14. We did not have a reservation and asked if they had anything available. The sign showed that they were full. We met Kimmarie and she went out of her way to accommodate us. We had to shuffle our stay from room to room but it was worth it . This hotel is a 5 minute walk to catch the Park Shuttle Buses, as well as the Park entrance and Visitor Center and you can also get a Shuttle into town as well which is free so it is great to leave your car and walk. We stayed 2 nights in the 3 bedroom suite and one night in a regular room. The rooms were spotless and the kitchenette was excellent. Bathrooms 100% clean. 1-4 TV's all on Direct TV and very clear. The breakfast was great. After a day of hiking it was great to sit in the hot tub as well as swim around in the pool. You get a great view of the Zion Park Mountains as you sat in the Hot Tub and Pool. The grounds and gardens are kept in top shape. You can see Deer's strolling by in the evening as you sit around the balcony table relaxing or you can be entertained by the many Hummingbirds feeding at the many feeders.
The staff was great ,Stephanie with her friendly personality, Curtis (ask him for sightseeing trail advice..By the way Curtis I did go on the Observation Trail that you suggested )
They also have complimentary coffee or tea available 24 hrs . This coffee is an Organic blend which was very mild and tasted great and we enjoyed many cups :) We stayed at 4 other Hotels after this one and NO ONE had coffee as good as theirs!!! They also supplied some homemade cookies which Curtis suggested the Lemon ones as he said they were the best and he was right again. This Hotel has the atmosphere of a Caribbean Resort all that is missing is the beach. You could sit there all day enjoying yourselves.Just for the record we are very particular on our choices for Hotel's as when you are on a holiday you want everything to be smooth no surprises . This hotel is is for you , top notch service from the Maids to the Lobby staff. Wish we were still there....Rick and Jean

Stayed one night in July after visiting Zion. I know understand why this hotel gets good reviews as they are deserved. First, the location is great as its the closest hotel to Zion as its a 5 minute walk. The best thing about the hotel are its beautiful grounds. The hotel is on a hill and the grounds are decorated with beautiful flower gardens. Its also situated in the canyon with great vista views of the canyon walls. It has a couple of fire pits on the grounds. The pool area was also surrounded by gardens and the hot tub is located next to a grotto water fall. Hanging out at the pool was the most relaxing moment on our one week tour of the grand circle. It just has a great environment. There were humming bird feeders outside of the rooms and we had one visit while we where there.

The rooms are well decorated very well and in sync with the outside environment. My only criticism of the hotel was the rooms were a little on the small side.

The staff was extra helpful when I asked about activities in the area. I twice talked to staff at the desk and they both seemed extra eager to help. Both stopped what they were doing and one started doing some internet research for me about my question. Really good service. Also, the hotel served breakfast in the morning. This was much better than the typical continental breakfast. Everything was very tasty, including great burritos and a lot of fresh fruit. Also the lobby has a little grocery area which I totally missed and had a deionized water station to fill up water bottles.

The town is also really cool with a lot of really good local restaurants and situated in the edge of the beautiful Zion canyon. I paid little extra to stay at this facility, but left feeling I got great value for my money. If staying in Zion, seriously consider this hotel.

Room Tip: Try to get a room by the river or in back by the gardens. Just a better view.

Great experience at this hotel. Walking distance to visitor center and restaurants. The pool is great - amazing views, salt water, lots of shaded seating and cabana feel. Which swimming a deer walked right up next to the pool fence which was super fun for the kids and adults.
Room was nice - patio out back with more wonderful views. Seemed like all rooms had a view. We had requested a double room with sleeper sofa. We didn't get that on initial check-in but when I went back to registration they quickly changed rooms for us and were very friendly This is perfect as we were 2 adults with 3 kids and usually have to get a suite or one kid has to sleep on the floor.
Cookies at check-in were enjoyed by all as well. Enjoy your stay - you won't be disappointed. We will definitely stay here a couple nights the next time we travel through Zion area.
