“Love this place!!!”
Reviewed 16 July 2014

My family and I stayed here a couple of years ago and we loved it!
This place is so funky, comfortable and very conscious about the environment. Our 1st floor room had access to the river and the view was great. We totally enjoyed the pool and hot tub.
Right near all restaurants and close enough to walk to the National Park.

Room Tip: 1st floor, river access

Booked two days, extended to three, would have stayed longer if they were not full. Large modern rooms mix engineered timbers with steel, granite, concrete and modern colours. Fabulously clean and well equipped rooms, included a grill, microwave, fridge, even a dishwasher and tablets if you wanted to use it but we just used the free shuttle bus that runs all day from outside to trip to the further restaurants and walked to the closer ones. 2 minutes on the bus to Zion park. Unbelievable views of the canyon both sides whilst in the pool. Small nice coffee shop on site, but loads to eat in short walking distance. We will return here.

Great place. Stayed with our family of 5 including 3 young adult kiddos. Riverview room was huge, quiet, and well stocked. We never felt crowded. We had stayed in the park at the lodge 8 months prior, and definitely prefer the Desert Pearl for comfort, convenience, and amenities. The pool and hot tub were great, and the river view with the balcony was peaceful. Friendly staff and close to everything in Springdale. Book it now!

We recently checked in to the Desert Pearl Inn, and checked out early. Here's why - we had a 1 bedroom creek side suite, which seemed nice on the surface. The room was very large, with a kitchen and two spacious bathrooms. Unfortunately, two important necessities were not working. First, we noticed right away that the air conditioning in the master bedroom was not working properly and the Inn was unable to get it fixed. There was no manager on site at the time, which was mid-afternoon on a busy weekend. They had no other rooms to give us so their solution was to stick us with an extremely loud portable air conditioner. Second, the refrigerator was not cool enough, so the food we purchased for breakfast spoiled. Not exactly a good value for over $300/night. I'm not sure what other options travelers to Zion have, but I would recommend staying in the lodge at Zion or try another of the motels on the strip.

You can not go wrong with the Desert Pearl Inn! From the check in to the check out it was a complete pleasure. From other reviews, I booked the upper level river view. It was fantastic. To wake up in the morning to the spectacular views sitting on the porch with our breakfast getting ready for our day of hiking was amazing. The staff is so delightful. The room was huge! We are a family of 5 and the 2 queen beds and the queen pull out sofa was more than enough room. Flat screen TV's, fridge, coffee maker, toaster oven makes your stay with children very enjoyable. The hotel is so clean and the pool is wonderful. The shuttle system is great. Outside the hotel the Springdale shuttle picks up every 15 minutes and there is one stop before you are in Zion. I would definitely recommend the Desert Pearl and the town of Springdale!

Room Tip: upper level queen suite river view

Chic, artsy, green rooms with well appointed kitchens. Balcony was great--worth paying up for the creekside view. My family loved wading in the creek and swimming in the stunning pool. One of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in. Shuttle to Zion and onsite laundry very convenient. Five stars.

Room Tip: Pay up for creekside view!

The only riverside room remaining when I made my reservation was a suite. It was a bit of a splurge, but, so worth it!!! The room was immaculate and very big. The Kitchen was fully functional and looked brand new. The River side was so peaceful and the view was perfect for sitting outside. The pool area was perfect for cooling off after the hot day. The jacuzzi was too hot for us to enjoy in July, all we wanted to do was cool off. Everything about this hotel fit perfectly with the scenery. The Zion red rock canyon could not have been better framed.
