What a great experience! Beautiful views from every room, extremely friendly staff, and wonderful rooms. My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights in early August of 2014. The room was spacious with a kitchenette, small dining table, a nice sitting area with a very comfortable couch, and a comfortable sized patio/balcony to enjoy the views. We will always stay here if it is available when we are in the Zion area.

We overlooked the pool, which had a lot of people in during the day, but the rooms are so well insulated that we never heard anyone outside unless we were sitting on the patio.

The ladies at the front desk were extremely helpful in choosing restaurants and also advice on timing the Zion shuttle in the park.

Amazing property! We had a ground floor room on the river. Perfect! We loved having the outdoor space and listening to the river. The pool area is gorgeous. There are views of Zion all around the property. The location is perfect. Close to restaurants and the park entrance. Highly recommend!

Room Tip: Ask for a ground floor room facing the river.

We loved staying at Desert Pearl. The spacious room we stayed in had a great view of the stream out back along with a view of red rocks. The pool was really nice too. The location is convenient to the city transport to Zion. We highly recommend staying here if you come to Zion.

Wow, so glad we stayed here. Visit started off with the super friendly front desk clerk telling us a lot of great information about the town and the park, since it was our first visit. She was genuine and really did want us to have a good visit. The room itself was fabulous. Loved the decor and the private patio. There were a lot of nice small touches, like the "rock" soap sample in the bathroom. A very complete kitchen for a hotel room, far more than we expected. We were lucky enough to have a storm roll through on our second night, so we sat out on the covered patio and watched the lightning and listened to the thunder. Amazing stay from start to finish.

Room Tip: Second floor rooms have a more private patio than the first floor.

I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The location is perfect. Had tried to get a room at the famous Zion Lodge and thought that I had missed out. After staying three nights at the Desert Pearl, I'm glad that we stayed here instead. Springdale IS the entrance to the park and the hotel sites right outside the park. There is a free shuttle in Springdale that runs back and forth between the park and through the village and there is stop at the hotel that takes visitors to the park visitor's center - where you connect with the park's free shuttle - so you don't need to use your car. The hotel is also among the cafes, shops, restaurants, so we walked to everything and I mean SHORT walks. We had a second floor room overlooking the pool area. The room was super clean, modern with a lodge feel, had a nice balcony and a good bathroom. The staff was very helpful with directions and recommendations - each place to eat that they recommended was a hit with us - but we didn't need them for anything else so I can't say more about the service. There is also a small cafe at the hotel that is decent but more like a Starbucks cafe than a full service breakfast restaurant. So in the end, we liked having instant access to the park but still have instant access to shops and restaurants.

Room Tip: Second floor rooms provide great views of mountains, nice balcony, and a floor above pool noise.
