As a regular customer of this lovely restaurant set in a green oasis
TGIF takes on a different meaning. From 7 pm on you enter the candle lit veranda, greeted by the staff john, Richard and Joyce. The jiko,s are lit and give out lots of heat when needed. You have to book most weeks. The tapas menus varies every week and we all can't wait what Alpana brings out next. From quails eggs on black pudding to pork belly with fab cracklings to crispy Peking duck and much much more..also best fish and chips in town. Their strawberry roulade is legendary, even though I prefer the chocolate mousse. A good choose of wines though the house wine "unbelievable cape chestnut" is thoroughly recommended. Sunday currylunches brings together people from all over Laikipia for a genuin Indian buffet .
Even though some people may the menus limited it's always freshly cooked using homegrown produce.
It also has a secure play ground for children
I absolutely recommend this wonderful place.

A lovely place - serene garden setting, pretty building and friendly, attentive and professional staff. And a woodpecker did his thing on a nearby tree trunk, which was a novel lunch experience! The emphasis on local and home-grown produce means good flavours and a sense of reassurance that the proprietors care about what they're doing - foodwise and also for local growers. The range of dishes at the (Sunday) curry buffet cater for most tastes: meat, fish and vegetarian. There is a decent selection of wines, beers and soft drinks and the value is excellent. Very reasonable bill at the end of a leisurely lunch.
