Stopped in here with a group of 20 students from the US. We were visiting the Ol Pejeta Conservancy for the day. The staff was gracious enough to allow us to "take over" the restaurant. For the next two hours we relaxed in the outdoor seating area, having wonderful smoothies, milkshakes, and tasty food. My favorite was the Mango/Ginger (Tangawezi) smoothie. We ordered chicken burgers, regular burgers, and grilled beef. All were high quality and served with perfectly cooked fries and the side. The beef was served on a wood slab and was cooked to perfection, tender and tasty. Prices are very reasonable. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Even though we were a large active group they made sure we got our orders efficiently and managed to keep separate checks for all. The added bonus was that they had a great gift store inside and many of the items were unique and also of high quality. It was great to see that they carry the "Flip-flop" art of Ocean Sole in their store as well. All in all an unexpected gastronomic treat inside a fantastic wildlife conservancy.

While on safari in Ol Pejeta we decided to stop and have lunch at Morani's which is conveniently located right next to the rhino sanctuary. The selection on the menu is good with an array of various items that will appeal to most and the smoothies and milkshakes lived up to their reputation. The food is excellent, we decided to try the Morani's burger which was tastefully presented and delicious. The seating is largely outdoors, comfortable with a great view and if you're lucky you may see the rhino wandering past in the near by sanctuary while having your meal. Overall, the service was good, the scenery exceptional and the food superb! Definitely a must when visiting Ol Pejeta!

Thank you very much for your valued review and feedback from your visit to Morani's. We're happy that everything you mention was to your liking - the views, service, milkshakes and the food. The Morani burger, made using Ol Pejeta beef and served on a recycled cedar fencepost board, is a favourite of many who eat here!

Many thanks again, and we hope to see you sometime in the future.

Morani's is an all-around fantastic spot for lunch. It is a perfect lunch stop for day-trippers into the conservancy and those looking for a mid-morning coffee break or evening sun-downers. It is also a great stop for families since the kids can enjoy space on the lawn and feed Baraka, the blind rhino next door. They offer a fresh menu with plenty of options for every taste (including some great gluten-free choices).
