Managers are very friendly, hotel and rooms are clean, there have lots of entertainment (dvd, books, travel guides, good music), delicious breakfast, nice rooms and a beautiful garden to relax in the very centre of Tiznit

After spending some time in the hustle and bustle of Morocco, it was great to stay in a nice quiet riad in Tiznet.

The owners - a lovely French couple - English skills matched my French skills, so I really enjoyed being able to exhibit my very ordinary French.

Nothing seemed to be too much trouble - our room was ready, it was quiet and clean, breakfast was lovely, and dinner was excellent. A limited wine menu - but first class.

Sitting around the pool in the afternoons and patting the resident cat, was very relaxing.

Newly built rather than renovated, but with a thoughtful design and attention to all details. Unlike other Riad's that are townhouses, this one has a larger central area, with some garden space and a swimming pool. Well located in a quiet and authentic part of Tiznit, a good 15' walk from the centre and transport. The owners are very hospitable, warm and welcoming and with a good sense of humour, and are very present themselves. Tiznit is a provincial town that doesn't have the immediately obvious attractions of a Fes, Marrakesh etc. but you will come to appreciate it if you slow down and heighten your sensibilities a bit to a very authentic atmosphere. Much recommended.Koenraad & Smruti

This is a spacious, purpose built, atmospheric riad in the Medina of Tiznit. Because it is purpose built, the bathroom is great and the hot water works really well, and it has good lighting! The rooms and large and comfortable and the decor is very tasteful and not too tizzy. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the garden is beautiful. There is a nice terrace on the first floor as well as a swimming pool and plenty of space for lounging. The French hosts are very pleasant and helpful and speak good enough English. We stayed there for two nights and both evenings we had really creative and tasty food, a cut above the standard in most of the other riads we stayed in.

Riad Janoub was a beautiful and spacious hotel / riad in the old medina of Tiznit. Our hosts were super friendly and passionate about their riad. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody going to the region of Tiznit !
