I was here a couple of years ago actually and i still think the chicken sandwich here was one of the best ive ever had. My mates and girlfriend had the soup and said it was wicked.

In a town (albeit somewhat cleaned up) with many restaurants serving similar fare including TV sport/sitcoms, this quaint little place is relatively peaceful, attracting a more sedate crowd, lots of discreet Asians the night we were there. It serves pretty much the same food and has reclining cushions or regular table/chairs like in other restaurants. The grill out front was attractive, chicken done well, but grilled tilapia was the highlight: lemongrass stuffed and salt crusted, peel off the skin/scale and walla! simple and delicious for 50k kips, washed down with beerlao or fruit shakes. For dessert, roadside pancakes for 10k kips are a deliciously sweet (think instant diabetic coma!) treat to take back to your hotel to watch the stars from the same balcony you watched the mountains

The elderly couple that runs the place were awesome. They made great recommendations and were so kind. I would recommend. Great spot in town and a nice place to have dinner.

Run by a cute old couple, very friendly people and we loved their noodle soups, came back a couple of times and left happy each time.

we had chicken noodle soup. and a chicken BBQ sandwich one night and for lunch the next day we had chicken fried rice (very mushy not recommended) and beef noodle stir fry which had some kind of gravy sauce. if we came back here again, we would stick with the noodle soup or sandwich.
