Usually when a restaurant has several hundred items on its menu, it's a sign that it doesn't do anything particularly well. Apparently this rule does not apply to Fluid - I ate there with a group of 5 people on two separate occasions and everyone was quite happy with their meals. All the typical Western and Westernized-Laotian dishes are there. The staff are friendly and have great senses of humor. When I asked for more chili (to spice up a noodle soup), they brought dish after dish until the broth turned brown. It didn't quite melt my face off, but it was nice of them to be so accommodating, and to watch and laugh as I ate it.
