“Very nice guesthouse”
Reviewed 1 February 2014

I would recommend Nana for sure, as the building has caracter, the rooms are nice, the owner Thi is realy friendly and helpful and there is free coffee/tea and bananas in the morning. I didn't score excellent on my review for one reason only: i booked via the internet and paid a deposit for the room, which i didn't need to because the price of the room if you walk in, is the one minus the deposit so do yourself a favour and just send an email to Thi or call but don't go via hostel world kinda sight, just a waste of money.

Staff are helpful and friendly. If there is a large group of you this place is perfect.

The dorm room is clean with a locker provided for each bed. The bathrooms are a bit tired and get dirty quite quickly. Some of the sinks leak straight onto the floor but this is normal in Laos.

Internet was very slow.

Overall this was nice guesthouse. If I was staying longer, I would have moved as there are better value guest houses in town.

If you book your bus/minivan from this guesthouse it will take you directly into Vientiane town centre and not to the bus station at the edge of town.

First off the owner ty is probably the nicest person I have ever met. The rooms were really nice and cheap and sunset on the rooftop is amazing. I highly recommend it to any and everyone, one of the best places I've stayed without a doubt! Would go back in a heartbeat!

We walked past this place and one of the staff asked us to have a look! never heard of the hotel before and so glad we took a look! Rooms were lovely and great value! the beds were very comfy and had our own little balcony aswell, good location and the staff were very friendly always offering to help in anyway they could! free tea and coffee in the morning :) the bathroom was large and relatively clean! Only downside the tv didn't really work in our room however wasn't much of a problem as we didn't spend much time in the room!

This place might not be the most aesthetically pleasing, but the staff make it all worthwhile. Whilst I was staying here I got taken ill and the owner took me to hospital and stayed with me the whole time.

One of the few budget guesthouses that has 6 beds in a massive room with air conditioning, but they allowed five of us to stay in a room. This place is ideal for group travellers.

Bathrooms were small but comes with warm water.

Wi-Fi was fast in the lobby and the common areas.

Location-wise, the place is a quick walk to whatever you need and it gets quiet at night but is very safe.

Owner was an accommodating guy with a great command of English. Keng and Thi certainly made our trip much more enjoyable by providing us information whenever we required any and even offered me to join them for breakfast! Thanks guys!

Room Tip: Free water, coffee, tea, and bananas in the restaurant

guesthouse is maybe 5 mins walk from main central part - meant it was nice and quiet but still close enough. rooms were clean stayed in twin with aircon top floor. couldn't access wifi in room only on landings where there was a communal area on each floor. free water/coffee/bananas at all times. booked tickets to Luang Prabang through hostel. would stay again only negative had small problem with payment (had paid in full on Internet) they disputed this but was sorted eventually! good value!
