Easy Go Backpacker Hostel

Don't expect too much, but if the tree house vibe is good for you then stay here! Had a great 4 nights in the 8 bed dorm. We booked in as a group so the lack of space wasn't an issue but if you are all strangers it could be a little cosy. There are other, more private rooms available though. Very friendly staff and nice outside chill area. Nice location down by the river and close to the restaurants and bars where everyone goes in the evening!

Room Tip: The 8 bed dorm at the end of the wooden boardwalk is great fun and has beautiful views from the litt...

amazing place to stay with great mountain views, came here for NYE, everyone got absolutely wrecked in the chillout area, guitar, pool table, treehouse style feel of the dorms 10/10, staff are great, so laid back and only 2 seconds from nightlife

Room Tip: all $2.50!!

Super cheap, authentic, really sweet helpful staff, great location, amazing views would 100% recommend to anyone although the dorms at the bottom of the outdoor stairs are the best!! Literally 5 mins walk from the centre quiet at night to sleep and everyone stays there so great for meeting your tubing team!!

For 25,000 Kip per night (USD3 or so) per night, yes, you definitely can get something better than this place. But that's not even in a complaint list. Never.

This place is the best place to socialize around with other backpackers from all over the world. The view from the socializing area is just breath-taking. Spectacular, I must say! You will easily blend it with others; not only just in the dorm, but eventually you'll hang out together at the rest area, play pool, go out for tubing or to the bucket bar or do any other activities together. Like a family. Yeah, you read it right, like a FAMILY. That's the best thing about this hostel.

Yeah, the hostel is just a basic hostel. Which very thin mattress and small bed. And only 1 fan in each room. With holes here and there on the mosquito net, which doesn't help a lot. But mehhhh... not a problem at all. I come to Vang Vieng to have fun (and I had!) not for some luxury relaxation moment.

Well, another good point - separate toilet (with toilet paper rolls) and bathroom! Free coffee and tea - DIY please. And friendly, helpful staff especially Pha (sorry, don't really know how to spell his name).

Definitely will come back to this hostel if I ever come back to Vang Vieng.

Room Tip: If you can't handle noise in the middle of the night as drunk backpackers might come back late a...
