“Beautiful, clean, blue water. My fav.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 November 2013

The blue lagoon was an amazing swimming experience. So beautiful, clear and fresh. The natural way the tree hangs over the water, allows many to jump in from a variety of heights (some to heigh for my comfort) There are also swings in and around the water, and a rope swing, which is a lot of fun!

A great chill out spot for everyone.

I didn't make the cave because I was having too much fun in the water. :)

“Perfect place to swim”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 November 2013 via mobile

I went twice by bike to the blue lagoon in vang vieng. If you are going to rent a bike it is best to rent a mountain bike with suspension because the road bikes we rented were very difficult to ride on the rocky path. The lagoon itself was 10000 to get in but was really relaxing. The water was clear blue and deep, there were little fish swimming around with me and there was a cafe where we could buy beers food or water. I tried out a jump which was fun and the overall feel of the place was great.

“Lots of fun”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 November 2013

We had an amazing time jumping off the tree into the blue lagoon! The water is super clear. The cave is a bit of a climb up but it is worth the energy. Big cave with a declining Buddha near the entrance. Definitely worth to hire a bike and cycle here. It is only about 20 minutes away from Vang Vieng.

“Relaxing”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 November 2013 via mobile

Cruising along on tubes via the ropes was hard work with a relaxing edge. Although pitch black with a little torch on your head have an adrenaline rush it was more of a gentle float.

“Nice half-day out in Vang-Vieng”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 November 2013

We rented bikes to get here which was interesting, although make sure your bike has suspension (mine did not...) as the road is very bumpy. You will go through some small villages and beautiful landscapes. The lagoon itself was nice for a swim and jumping but it cost 10000kip (rip-off..) and was very touristy - almost felt like a summer-camp or something. The cave is up a steep hillside with some climbing involved, I recommend to do this before swimming as you will get sweaty! The cave itself is huge - and despite the claim you need torches (they rent them out next to the lagoon) you really dont as the cave is big and airy with a buddha in the middle. It did not warrant further exploration into the depths. I have seen many caves and swam many lagoons so I guess I was not very impressed but it is good for a few hours break from Vang Vieng.
