We had a very pleasant stay here, the staff went out of their way to help us when my partner was injured. The location is perfect, a little walk away from all the centre of town and very quiet. Room was very pleasant although i would say quite expensive compare to some of the guest houses in town that are 6 x cheaper but obviously not as luxurious. We stayed at elephant crossing next door for the night before and regretted not staying at Ban Sabai for 2 nights instead.

Situated on the river bank within walking distance to centre of town. Close to shopping and restaurants and pubs, yet away from the noisy end of town. Rooms clean and staff friendly. Will stay there again.

We only stayed 2 nights in a Deluxe room because Super Deluxe rooms were unavailable due to a flood. The rooms have fantastic view of the river and mountains, have small but convenient bathroom and we were lucky that we didn't find any mosquitos or insects ! The Wi-Fi didn't work but almost all restauranta nearby have free Wi-Fi ,so it was not a big deal. The thing that made me abit unhappy was that during check-out, we were asked to pay 40000 kip (if i remember well) because one of the two small towels was missing from the room. But this towel was missing after the first day that the lady cleaned our room.....we didn't even use it.I guess the lady forgot to place again a second towel and then it seemed like we have lost it.....Anyway the towel price was not high but i don't like to be seen as a thief and asked for something i didn't do. Overall it was a nice hotel and the staff was friendly

My family stayed at Super Deluxe Room and Superior Room. View from room was fantastic and breakfast was also good. But rooms looks old and need to be improved. There were many problems such as doors, toilet and not enough hot water, lots of bugs and strange smell in the room and bed!!!
We were really disappointed and wanted to escape from the room.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay here. This was a nicer place than most offered in Vang Vieng. After spending the first night at an ultra-budget place, this was a cozy, refreshing place with clean, comfortable sheets that allowed us to really relax. A good breakfast was included. This is five or so minutes walk from the heart of the 'party' atmosphere and a quiet place to sleep. Great for couples or people who aren't looking to meet a lot of other backpackers at their hotel. I would definately stay here again. The staff were very helpful and arranged our bus to continue or travels. THANKS BAN SABAI!

We stayed in one of the 'superior' rooms for three nights. Lovely little bungalow with a decent view of the river (althogh partly obscured by the restaurant). Bathroom has a shower which is separate from the rest of the room - a rarity in SE Asia - and has nice complimentary toiletries.

The breakfast is good and is served at an outside restaurant which is beautiful - much better view than any of the bars and restaurants in town. Cheekily, they make you pay extra if you want a slight variation on the main menu, eg, an extra vegetable in your omelette, but the options included in your room cost are good enough anyway so you shouldn't feed the need to order anything else.

The location is great - about a 5-10 min walk and you're in the centre of town, which is close enough to walk home at night and far enough to escape the noise and crowds when you've had enough.

The staff are perfectly nice, but not the most amazing service we've had in this part of the world, especially given the price.

Oh, make sure you use your voucher for a free Ban Sabai cocktail as it's delicious!
