This cold spring turned out to be merely a toilet stop for us.
Entrance fee was 10 pesos. Loud, unseemly karaoke music was playing with discordant locals singing (many Filipino(a)s are beautiful singers: these were not).
The cold spring is rundown: the concrete needs painting, the nipa huts look grotty.
The whole place looks like a demolition job.
We dipped our toes in the cold water but couldn't be bothered standing in it.
