We just came from the bustling city of Vientiane, Laos and needed some time to relax and recuperate. Thailife is the ideal place if you are looking for a stress free, non touristy location to spend your day tanning on the beautiful pristine beaches, getting traditional Thai massages, or enjoying some delicious Thai cuisine, this is your place to stay! The staff very friendly and speak English well. They even do a lot for the community, employing those who have been affected by the tsunami that happened several years back. Highly recommended if you need a getaway!

This is my idea of the perfect hotel. It's quiet and surrounded by natural beauty. It's low-key and serene, not all glitzy and fake. The rooms are simple, tasteful and perfectly clean. If I ever have the chance to return to Thailand, I would stay there again!

We stayed at Thailife Homestay for 3 nights and regretted not having stayed longer!!! Whilst it is a little off the beaten track that is more than made up for by the beautiful accommodation (with great outside showers), a serene setting, very good food and very friendly and helpful staff (Alex is a lovely lady). The beach is a little bit away but pushbikes are available, again once there it is more than worth anytime spent walking or riding there.

We will certainly be returning to this resort on our next trip to Thailand.

One of the best!!!

My wife and I really enjoyed our 5-day stay at ThaiLife, booked as the last stop in a 2 week holiday visiting lots of different places, put together to our specs by Andaman Sky Adventures, who did a great job, kudos to them for low prices, patience (we changed our minds more often than we would have liked during the planning process), seamless service and soft selling. We stayed in a massive villa overlooking the lake, we liked to cycle down to the beach down the short path (it only takes 5 minutes) instead of taking the free ride the resort offer.

he beach was very quiet, though the sand was a bit coarse (that really is just nit-picking though and I don’t want to be like the princess-with-a-pea-under-the-mattress likes so many other tripadvisor contributors, who seem to feel like they are entitled to be treated like royalty and don’t appreciate their great good fortune in being able to afford to stay at such places. The massage and spa centre was reasonably priced and we got pretty good oil sports massages there. Thwe resort is located about 25 minutes away from Khao Lao centre, which is pretty uninspiring, we went once and didn’t return, just hung out at the resort for the rest of our 5 day stay.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile whatever we wanted, nothing seeming like it was too much trouble. The food at the resort was reasonably priced for the high standard offered and the breakfast huge. The gardens here are a highlight, with cashew trees and rice paddies, lived in by buffaloes and stalks. Free wifi was available almost everywhere.
