“SO glad we stayed here!”
Reviewed 2 June 2011

We had a great experience during our stay at Little Corn Beach and Bungalow (LCBB). I'm pretty confident that our accommodations were the best around, as we were able to check out some others, and many guests staying elsewhere were envious when visiting LCBB for dinner. The rooms were fresh, clean and spacious. We stayed in a two bed bungalow called "Robinson." LCBB's location right on the beach provided a wonderful breeze, and it was very easy to relax the day away in one of the hammocks swaying between the palm trees. The food and drinks were good--the frozen margaritas might just have been the best I've ever had. The Bloody Mary's were a close second. The filet mignon was the best dish on the menu. I also enjoyed the fish tacos and the snapper with green curry. Dinner's served early so be sure to get in before the kitchen closes. The owners, Scott and Kristine, were very hospitable and really care about the welfare of the island--they support the local community and environment quite a bit. I enjoyed spending time with the staff too, who were very sincere and welcoming to us, as well as being good service providers. I was sad to have to leave, and I look forward to going back to Little Corn. I would only stay at LCBB if I have the chance to go back.

Our visit to Little Corn was awesome. We stayed at Little Corn Beach and Bungalow (LCBB) and we definitely felt it was the nicest accommodations on the island. Kristine and Scot, the owners, are very friendly, professional and shared helpful information/advice. Their staff make the stay exceptionally pleasant- Miss Gladys, Simon, and Nenoska make you feel like you are quite special. We ate at several restaurants on the island, but like the Turned Turtle (at LCBB) the best. Their margaritas and fish tacos are amazing. During our stay we snorkeled, deep sea fished, bone fished, kayaked around the island, and perused the trails and beaches of the island. The greatest thing about the trip was meeting all the wonderful people- from the owners, staff, islanders to other fellow travelers. We were also lucky enough to have gorgeous blue sky weather during our entire stay. If you are headed to Little Corn- Little Corn Beach and Bungalow is definitely where you want to stay.

We stayed at Beach Bungalows in Jan and Feb. 2011 and loved it there, Scott and Kristine were very good to us and we felt so welcome and relaxed. We also admire their love and respect for animals. Also loved the emloyees and was never dissappointed in the delicious meals served in the resturant. The beautiful walk to town from Beach Bungalous is not to far and so perfect. We will always have sweet memories of our stay there. Thank you Scott and Kristine and all the accommodating employees that they have working there.

Little Corn Beach and Bungalow was the highlight of my trip! It provided me with the best hammock to hang in. The bungalows are stellar and clean -- with amazing views to the beach and amazing turquoise water. The beach was only steps from our veranda -- we were able to snorkel to the reef to see sharks, sting rays and much more. For people who didn't want to do the swim a panga comes by and will drive you out for moderate charge.
The restaurant servers a great selection food and yummy drinks and the staff are allows have a smile!
Thanks for a great stay!!!
See you next year !!

Just spent 10 wonderful days at Little Corn Beach & Bungalow. Scot and Kristine have done a great job of creating eco-friendly lodging just steps from the ocean. Their bungalows are cozy and quite comfortable and the setting is beautiful. Restaurant was great - yummy island benedict, coconut pancakes, cuban grilled cheese, fish tacos, chocolate-coconut ice cream and great drinks. I can't wait to go back next year.

I will preface this review by saying that Scott and Kristine were sold out during our trip down and we stayed at another property (you will probably read my review of that property if you are researching LCI) However, we had several meals at LCBB and toured the rooms and property with Scott, so I feel qualified in lending my opinion.

As I stated in my other review, LCI is not for everybody, nor is every property. If you know what you are getting into, you are much more apt to enjoy your stay, hence my often candid reviews.

Scott and Kristine do an incredible job running LCBB. Their almost fanatical attention to detail and customer service is evident everywhere. You will be severely tested to find another propety, anywhere that have on premise owners as dedicated to the comfort of their guests as these two.

The rooms are beatiful by any standards. They have also done a good job building their property while maintaining as much of the natural surroundings as possible. Your commute from your bungalow, past the hammocks and trees to a beautiful beach is about 20 seconds. Be sure to say hey to Lola, the resident parrot holding court in her tree. My Son and Georgie, the property pooches will be close by.

We enjoyed incredible breakfast, lunch and dinners at LCBB. Their 4 course dinner for $15 is not to be missed, and changes with what is fresh. Even if you stay elsewhere, be sure to drop by for a meal or two. Their famous porker sandwhich, signature Margarita, and toasted coconut/chocolate chip cookie lunch is worth the trip alone. You can thank me later.

Simon, behind the bar is a master at making you feel right at home and he has a series of home made cocktails that will end (or in case of the Canadian Bloody Mary) begin your day nicely.

We did not have a bad meal or drink there. They are not the cheapest place on the island, but the value for your money is incredible. I sincerely hope they have room for us on our next stay, but if they do not, I know there is a porker and marg in my future!

First let me say that LIttle Corn is not Miami or Cancun - it is secluded, and relatively undeveloped , i.e. no cars or roads (probably not for long - it's beautiful) Scot and Kristine - do a great job with their hotel..unlike other places the owners are actually there. This is not the least expensive place on the island - but it is the best - Little Corn Beach & Bungalow (LCBB) -is about an easy 10 minute walk from the dock -(they have someone with a wheelbarrow get your luggage). It is on the seculded and windy side of the island (where you want to be)- their food is good and they take their jobs as hosts very seriously. They also try to give back to the Island - they have developed a nutering program for the dogs on the island, a book program for the kids on the island and they pay to have all of the garbage that winds up on their side of the island to be picked up and shipped to the mainland. We stayed in the Gulliver which was perfect for a family of 4.

Room Tip: Gulliver is good
