Color View is located near the end of the village with colorful gazebos. Tables setup in the gazebos offer a decent view of the beach, somewhat obstructed by the trees.
For dinner one night we stopped by asked what was fresh and decided to try a new place. Our first disappointment was they did not serve beer. Not a deal breaker since the restaurant was recommended by our snorkel boat operator. And since they allow you to go to Dolfines bar and bring back bottles or drinks to enjoy with the meal.
Among the group we ordered fried fish in a jalapeno sauce and a shrimp plate. The jalapeno sauce was the best thing on anyone's plate. The shrimp were small which was fine but tasted like they may have been from a can. The side dishes were bad all around. Rice tends to be somewhat under cooked everywhere but was especially crunchy here. The breadfruit fries and salad were equally under ripe and poorly prepared. I think it would have mattered less if we were content filling up on the main dish but we couldn't. At the end of the meal the only service we were offered was to keep our empty beer bottles, which the bar would like to have back to regain their deposit.
Overall it was one of the cheapest meals we had on the island but it was reflected in the quality of food and the service. Having saved about one american dollar over nearby places I recommend you pass on this one.
