We stayed here in early Nov. 2013. Fantastic experience.
1) right on the ocean
2) Hammocks on cabana decks overlooking the ocean thru the palm trees
3) Easy walking distance to the centre of things ie. great restaurant "Desideri's" (10 min)
4) Food at Casa Iguana was excellent although we ate at other restaurants as well.
5) Canopy of palm trees throughout the property sheilds U from the intense sun. This is a major plus for us. Canopy of palms plus steady eastern breeze keeps one cooler.
6) We paid $55.00/night a rate offered when you stay more than 3 days. We thought this was good value.

Room Tip: Suggest bringing a good mosquito net. My daughter didn't get bit once and I got many bites. I...

We stayed here last year and had a great time. Our room was clean and we had beach access. If you are going to Little Corn Island this is the place to stay. Be sure to get the breakfast which features local fruits and delicious coconut french toast

My friends and I had an amazing time in Little Corn and Casa Iguana was definitely one of the main reasons why. The casita was simple and clean, with balcony hammocks overlooking the ocean, private bathroom, and a super refreshing outdoor shower. To be honest, it was a bit out of our price range ($65 per night or $55 for 3 or more nights, breakfast not included) but with a (practically) private beach less than a minute walk away, it's definitely worth it.

The grounds are very well manicured with clean and clear paths through the jungle. The lodge has a spectacular view of the beach and ocean, free wifi, and was in general a nice spot to chill. We only ate breakfast and lunch there once, but it was fresh and delicious both times. The drinks were also a hit with us, especially the baisilito!

Although Casa Iguana is owned by an American woman, the place is entirely run by locals, which is refreshing to see in a place with a lot of foreign owned and run businesses. Abner, the young manager, is incredibly helpful and accommodating, and an all-around great guy. The entire staff was super friendly and professional.

We enjoyed our time at Casa Iguana so much that we decided to extend our stay by an extra night but would have gladly stayed longer if we didn't have a flight to catch! It is hands down the place to stay on Little Corn!

The only reason I'm not giving Casa Iguana an Excellent review is because it is further away from the town center than almost all other hotels in Little Corn. I mean sure, the island is only 3 sq miles if that but it's still not as close as other places. The grounds are nicely kept and the views are fantastic. If you want to be away from what little activity there is on the island then this is a perfect place for you. you have your own private beach and restaurant. The cabanas are rustic but then again the prices reflect that so it's a fair deal.

My girlfriend and I along with 6 friends stayed at Iguana for one week during a scuba trip and loved this oasis along the water.

We had Grand Casita #1, and it was a perfect, no frills set up that has everything you need. Clean rooms, a bathroom, an outdoor shower (which was especially fantastic when it rained), and a huge deck along with hammocks that faced the beach.

Most important, Iguana is on the WINDY side of the island, so it's much cooler. Slept with the windows (and sometimes door depending on weather) open that kept the entire room cool at night.

The staff was extremely friendly and provided anything you needed, including bag transport to and from the dock. Also, they had super strong drinks at the lodge's bar. Just note that the bar closes before 9 though so make sure you get there early or keep drinking in town. Even better, breakfast started at 0700 and had a good variety on the menu.

A few things to note when you come to Little Corn:
1. You must have headlamps at night as it's pitch black on the way back to Iguana. Each one of us had lights, but we heard stories of people who didn't who wound up roaming the vegetation for an hour or two.
2. The roofs on the casitas are tin, so when it rains, it's super loud. You get used to it quick though, and there's nothing like the sound of rain to put you to sleep.
3. Coconuts, as well as iguanas, sound like bombs when they fall/land on the top of the roof. That will give you a jolt around dawn :-)

By the time we left, our circle of friends had doubled from the amazing travelers staying at Iguana. If I ever make it back to Little Corn, I'll be back at their doorstep.

I stayed at Casa Iguana for 5 nights and loved it. Amazing view, beautiful beaches and friendly staff. Generator means that you have power 24/7 and wifi also available in the lodge. It's only a small walk to the main side of the island just make sure you have torch with you for when you walk back at night. Breakfasts are good as is the hummus but I didn't try the dinner. Enjoy!

Iguana is set in a beautiful location, the views are stunning and the staff are constantly tending to the garden paths which were well kept and neat.
However...... the casita itself was very run down considering the price. At $55 per night, the sheets were stained and had cigarette butt holes in them. The overall condition of the casita was poor- musty smell and a little dirty.
The price does not include breakfast- this is an additional $6 per person.
There are other huts on the beach for less than half the price, which I can't imagine being in a more run down state, so if I were to go back to Little Corn I would stay there and spend that extra $20-$30 on some lobster and beers!
The main building / restaurant is worth checking out for the views and to have a beer.
