“First class facilities with very friendly staff”
Reviewed 16 May 2012

We chose this complex for an early season break with our two sons (aged 12 & 10) there was so much for them to do they didn't get around everything! One of the pools was heated which made it bearable for us to swim everyday! We stayed in a caravan which although smaller than a UK static was new, clean and accommodated all our stuff - the outside space was generous & offered a lot of privacy from neighbouring vans (as did the lodges & camping pitches)! One of the toilet/shower/laundry blocks (block 2)had recently been renovated to a VERY high standard that we regularly went over for showers instead of queuing for the one in our caravan!
Infact we enjoyed it so much & exploring the south of Corsica we would love to return- the only thing I would mention is it did seem further than 3km into Bonifacio & not a road that We would walk or cycle along so a car is definitely required.

We spent 9 nights on this campsite after friends had recommended it. It is a very comfortable camp site with nice well shaded places and very modern sanitary blocks. The camp site accepts Camping Cheques, offering excellent value for money.

The reception staff doesn’t really speak any English but they were patient with my poor French. On arrival they hand out a map of the camp site so you can find your way and tell them which number you would like to stay on. Behind the reception there is a small Camping Shop, selling bread, some fruit and vegetables, dairy products and even a few toys. Prices are quite high though so we only went there for bread in the morning and for stuff that we forgot to buy in the super market.

There are three sanitary buildings; we used building two, which was brand new and quite clean. It looked nice with new tiles and even some plants.
The thing I didn’t really like was the fact that there are no waste bins on the camp site so that you need to save up waste and bring it to the large containers near the entrance every now and then.

The best bit about the camp site is the swimming pool area. There are two pools. One large pool with a water slide and a smaller (heated) pool with a Jacuzzi. There are plenty of sun beds around the pools to use.
Next to the pool is the bar restaurant with a wood oven for Pizza’s. The Pizza we had was one of the better ones I had during the entire holiday and we were positively surprised. You can also order take away pizza to eat at your tent / holiday home.

The camp site is located about 4 km from Bonifacio. Bonifacio is a spectacular attraction and a must see when visiting Corsica. The beautiful beaches of Sant’amanza, Rondinara, Santa Giulia and Palombaggia are all within a 10 – 30 minutes drive away. Unfortunately the mountains are a bit further away, making this a good place for spending loads of time on the beach and around the pool and having dinner in Bonifacio but it is not a good place for making trips to mountains.

I wanted to reserve a cottage few months before our trip but were told on the phone they are fully booked. The reservation system seemed very hectic with full payment and no refund in case cancellation. We decided to take our tent , no reservation or prepayment required for this option. Upon arrival there were several cottages available, but we used our tent. This is a decorative "village size" camping with a super pool area (with slides), play area, washing facilities, restaurants, shop. It is only 4 km from Bonifacio inland but you need a car to get around. Need to spend at least a week there to discover the area and have some time to relax around the lovely pool. Also practical for the ferry connection to Sardinia (Sta Teresa di Gallura). Stuff is young and friendly.
