“Private with pool, and parking 10 mins from Bonifacio”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 October 2013

The hotel features suites with their own front gated front courtyard and backyards with patio. The back wall opens completely to the yard. The rooms are nicely furnished (the website is very representative.)

The pool is small but has a nice view of Bonifacio. Breakfast, which was overpriced for what was offered, is served by the pool.

The hotel is located a short drive to the town. There are no restaurants in the immediate vicinity so a car is mandatory.

I stayed here for 3 nights together with my husband and daughter. From the first moment I was taken by the scenery, architecture and the fantastic service provided. This is the perfect hotel if you want to be close to nightlife and the city of Bonifacio at the same time have tranquility in your close surroundings. This hotel is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever experienced, with your own garden and the room layout was exceptional. I want to stay for a week next time. The owner was very service-minded and he took his time to talk to his quest during breakfast and gave us the most fantastic recommendations for excursions and great restaurants. He made us all feel very welcome and important. Our family felt like super-stars, very price worthy. Cala di Greco has our warmest recommendations

What a very charming place Cala di Greco is! From the moment you enter the large property, on foot or by car (as you can easily access Bonifacio on foot from the hotel, via a small path, about 15 mns walk) to the one sipping your breakfast coffee by the pool and its magnificent view, it is a superb experience.
We stayed there in July, in one of the junior suites, for several nights, and we did not want to leave.
Johan, the owner, and his family, will make you feel very welcome. The rooms and their gardens have been decorated with a mix of tradition and modernity, with all the amenities you can expect at that price range.and they are very quiet.

Cala di Greco is a beautiful place, only thing missing is a restaurant.

Excellent, peaceful retreat. Suites are very clean, cool and modern with a private courtyard and sliding doors to a decked area- ideal for relaxing after a hard, hot day taking in the sights. The pool is a delight and much appreciated, with a stunning view over the harbour and cliff top town of Bonifacio. The resort provides an adequate breakfast at €12 pp, otherwise there are no restaurants in the immediate vicinity. You need a car but be warned, if visiting Bonifacio in high season, parking is tricky. We had been told it was a 15 min walk into town and so it was, however the walk is very steep and rocky and not lit at night. We did it numerous times as a cardio workout!!
The family running the resort are a delight.

We recently spent two days in this hotel. We have been staying in a so-called "suite", which in fact is simply a quite large room with a small space open air.
This hotel is in fact a group of small constructions in a quite remote area on the Bonifacio's hills (you therefore imperatively need a car). The lights are: the modern decoration of the rooms, the large bathrooms, the cleanless, the small but nice swimming pool and the nice view. The shadows are: the location (quiet indee d but very remote), no restaurant, even not possible to have something small to eat during the day, and extremely expensive prices.

Lovely modern place , stunning view of the old town , friendly service .
We had spent 2 nights recently and the experience is very nice. The property is huge , very well kept. The infinite pool is overlooking an amazing view of the coast and the old town of Bonifacio.
Our room has a private terrace and it is very clean.
We will definitely visit again in another time of the year .

The first thing people should know is you really need a car! They mention getting a flight to Bastia, which if you haven't hired a car is 500 euros each way in a cab!
Also you really need one when you're there (or a scooter if not) to get to all the best beaches.
Terra Marina has amazing views up on the hills, the family that run it are lovely, the pool is fabulous and the apartments are not luxurious but nice.
We were a bit disappointed with lack of air con or fan and another negative was having to pay 52 euros for cleaning at the end of the stay as nothing was cleaned whilst we were there for the week.
I would definitely recommend it though, beautiful resort, very relaxing and a lovely spot to stay overlooking the harbour and old town.
