We had a very nice two day stay at this hotel in May 2011. Great location and great food. It's easy enough to find off the Main road from Bonifaccio to Porto-Vecchio. Look out for the red signs. It's quite a winding road. But worth it.

It has been a wonderful experience, from the hotel itself, from the fact that it is far away from everything, the beautiful white winding road, the silence, the swimming pool, the beach, the view, the vry good food to the very kind personnel. Everything very good to excellent. "Les tetes chaudes" s'abstenir. It's a quiet, wonderful and enjoyable place.
VERY ADVISEABLE to anybody who's reasonable Otherwise go to Ibiza or vis-a-vis, Porto Cervo..

This hotel is very expensive !!!! It's very luxurious as well. Our story: when we arrive we receive a tour and a non-alcoholic fruit drink at the bar. They have a very beautifull swimming pool and won a price for it. The swimming pool is made with reference to the corisican beaches. The pool boy comes regulary ask if you don't need drinks, but they are very expensive f.e. the fruit cocktail of teh day with 2 fruits is at 15 € per glass. The cheapest is a bottle of water 1L @ 6 €. But at 3.00 p.m. he brings a fruit brochette for every body for free.

Then our room was very small but renovated, exept the bath room. The toilet is separated from the bath room. We also had a small balcony. The request you not to store drinks in the fridge or keep no food at your room. But you have to know that a sandwich is at 25 € or more for lunch....

We had to take half board @ 52 € pp. They offer you a menu, if you want to change things at the menu you can change them with other dishes on the menu. Sometimes they charge you extra for that dish as mentioned on the menu (varies from 15 till 100 € extra !) .

Before dinner we always took an aperitive and that was OK as rate + you received a lot of home-made appatizers.

At dinner we received always help from the sommelier for the wine selection. Was also OK.

Conclusion : it's a very beautifull and organized hotel. A pitty that it's that expensive ! If the drinks at the pool where less expensive and the lunches also, a lot more people would have consummed. It's only a few on this earth who can pay 6 € for a coke-cola of 20 cl as it is nothing.

When I booked this hotel I go to trip advisor read the review like I used to do.
I was shocked because there was just bad reviews but I was really surprised when i arrived to the hotel. I work in hotel industry for many years and I travel a lot and this was probably the hotel with best service and location ever. The road to the hotel is normal road, just 2 minutes of way is dusty, probably if you rent a small car it is not so comfortable ( we had X5 BMW). The hotel is in the end of this way on the coast, has amazing view to the bay and sea.
We have normal standart room with view to the maquis, but partly we saw the sea.
Room is not big but very confortable and clean. Balcony is nice and you can have breakfast there.
Services in the hotel are very good, staff speak good english, sometimes they ask you for drinks or food in french but this is normal in France, they are very proud for their language and sometimes you have to accept this.
Food in restaurant was excellent, we had the half board for 75 EUR per person.
Every day you can choose from three course menu and If you want you can choose from the standard menu, some of the meals are without price-this you can add to your own menu without supplement ansd some for examlpe half of lobster with pasta you have to pay additional charge. But I think this normal in 4 or 5 star hotel. Also you pay for the water and wine.
Beach is not very nice but is privite and you do not have to share it with other people from campings or cheap hotels. Also they have boat and they take you to other beach around.
Yes, this hotel is not in city centre and is not cheap but If you looking for nice, quite hotel with excelent services definetely go there. We spend there 7 nights and then we stay in terrible Grand hotel Miramar in Propriano, this was probably the worst hotel from Small luxury hotels chain we have ever stayed for 400 EUR per night without halfboard.

Tiny bedrooms - you'd be better off in a travel lodge.
We have never seen such small bathrooms. You had to be a contortionist to operate bath taps.
Over-priced food 75 Euros for 1/2 board - but most menu options cost c. 15 Euros more!
Beach filthy - hadn't been cleaned for the summer
Children have to be quiet at all times around pool!
Ideal for wealthy couples with no children or desire to go to the beach.

fortunately me and my friend only stayed 1 night in this hotel in the middle of no where.. the total thing is a rip off...6€ for a diet coke.
We took the semi pension price wich is 75€ each for the dinner and the breakfast, and we had a nasty surprise when we discovered all the aditional cost on the menu..only once the bill has been presented to us as the staff forgot to mention about those extra.

I then confronted the manager in the morning refusing to pay those hidden extra... i then saw two manager who have been so rude..they threaten to call the police if we did not pay the 46€ extra. (after spending around 500€ for one night .
I thought it was disgracefull, and tasteless.
The staff advise me to not put any review on this website because i will be the only one and look foolish...lol i am glad the majority of the review are bad.

The rooms are very small... it s miles away from everything you cannot go shoping for anything drink or food unless you are ready to spend 40 min on the road

ps we found cockroarch walking in the room while watching tv

DEFINATELY A PLACE TO AVOID
