Having lived in the village for two years this used to be one of our favourite restaurants, in fact one of the nicest Chinese’s I have been too. From Chilli Squid, to Singapore Noodles to Spicy Curry to Beef in black bean sauce, all impeccably cooked & delicious in taste, all served by a lovely couple of waitresses. However, the last couple of times the food has not been anywhere near the same standard, I’m hoping this is a blip, although I fear it could be down to a new chef? A real shame…

It was really lovely food in here, only started going in this year but it has now closed. What a shame.

Have been to this Chinese restaurant on quite a few occasions both for lunch and an evening meal. The staff are always very friendly & helpful, their menu is very comprehensive & should satisfy peoples requirements. Their food is always very good & they always use fresh ingredients, all at a very reasonable price.

Have been a big supporter of Tims Palace for several years but sadly I now have to say that it is going into freefall.... The two spots are a reflection of the food which still tasted good even if the portions are much reduced. My gripe is with the service. We were the only table last Sunday yet we were largely ignored by the two wait staff who preferred to occupy a table at the other end of the restaurant so they could fiddle with their laptop. Sorry guys but defo not impressed. Ingatestone now has a very good Thai so if the management of Tims Palace are reading this take note.....
