“Pricy, but very good”
Reviewed 17 July 2013

The food is great. They also have Shisha in the smoking section. There is a fantastic view of the ocean from just about every table in the place.

“Great food, and great service!”
Reviewed 7 June 2013

I've eaten here twice with co-workers. The food is really good if you're looking for Lebanese. The lamb cutlets were quite tasty as is the mixed grill. My colleagues tried the cooked lambs brains, they weren't impressed but it was something new! You'd do well to visit this restaurant!

“Great Lebanese in Fahaheel”
Reviewed 1 June 2013

My visit to Mijana with work colleagues was on a Friday night. The restaurant was busy, with most patrons being local - a plus for an expat visitor like me, as it says a lot about how well the restaurant is viewed by those that eat out in Fahaheel regularly.

Great food. We had a mix of starters, all of which were very tasty, including Mijana's own hommos - sprinkled with oil and diced vegetables - and babaghanouje. The spicy lebanese sausages are also worth a go - I've had them every time I've been to Mijana and still keep having them. The starters all come with a plate of pickles, basket of breads and, eventually, hot, puffy breads fresh from the oven. Tip - don't head off into devouring the basket of breads at the start as you should save room and wait for the hot ones to show up - well worth the wait.

Mains were meaty - a mixed grill (which my colleague couldn't finish, so beware if your eyes are bigger than your stomach!), chicken kebab, and kebab with "cherry". The latter is a bit of a running joke with one of my other colleagues - he had this once at Mijana and liked it so much that he kept sking for it every time he went back. Only problem was that, while it was still on the menu, they never had the cherries. This visit was no exception, with the cherry being replaced by raspberry. Sounds wierd but my colleague said it was good - certainly there was little left on his plate at the end.

Drinks. Can only really comment on the lemon with fresh mint that we had - very good, tasty and refreshing.

Atmosphere. Very buzzy, with plenty of guests. However, it was a weekend night, and I have been at times in mid week when it has been very quiet.

Service. Good - quick, efficient but not overly friendly. However, very keen to learn how to say raspberry correctly in English!!

Value. Very reasonable for what we had - we all left extremely full but with wallets still reasonably well intact.

I've been a number of times to Mijana and believe it still rates as probably the best restaurant in Fahaheel itself. Will no doubt be back again.

“Best Lebanese restaurant in Kuwait”
Reviewed 4 October 2012

The food was absolutely fantastic. The ambiance of the place is incredible- very relaxed, luxurious feel right on the water. The staff was very accomodating and helpful with the menu, also extremely friendly. We had a very pleasant experience the first time and have been back since. Cost of entrees are normal in comparison to other restaurants in Kuwait. Expensive considering your check does not contain any alcohol purchases. Will continue to go back!!!

Great food, great Shisha. Most of the tables have a fantastic view of the Marina and ocean. Prices are on par with other similar establishments.
