“ALL around perfect experience!!”
Reviewed 15 February 2014

The food, the atmosphere, our waiter-- Everything was wonderful!!!! Everything on the menu was authentic Jamaican food!!! The restaurant added to our adventure, and really made the day! Our waiter brought us out a free drink to try that he had raved about. He seemed very interested in our cruise so far and leaving, we felt that we had made a new friend! :D VERY highly recommended!

Falmouth was a port of call on our cruise; Oasis of the Seas (Royal Caribbean). The one port of call we decided to just explore on our own... BAD. IDEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Both my husband and i were in the Marine Corps, and my husband was a cop for awhile. Once you leave the built up, nice area that is right off of the ship, it's a WHOLE other world. We no joke, almost got run over by traffic, and not because we were just being stupid, they clearly did not like that we were around. Human waste was in the streets, it was bad. Dilapidated buildings, trash. I felt very unsafe, especially because of the way people were looking at us. We immediately went back to the port and decided to shop around. :( SOO FALMOUTH.. BOOK AN EXCURSION..WITH the ship. Lesson Learned

“Top Rated Customer Service”
Reviewed 26 December 2013

The food was very good, the drinks were awesome; to my wifes liking and the customer service was top-rated. When the manager Ms. Kereen, heard that my wife may not have been satisfied with her order, she came over personally and offered to fix what was our mistake!

We thought we were ordering the fish and ordered something else that was made with fish. LOL

We enjoyed the atmosphere, food, drinks and local Jamaican hospitality!

“Great staff, laid-back attitude”
Reviewed 25 December 2013

One of our cruise stops but having been to Jamaica before, decided to just hang around the cruise area.
After cruising the shops (same-stuff, different building), started looking for a drink and some eats. After our horrible experience at Margaritaville in Grand Cayman (see review), this was really the only other option in the port area.
Open bar, not very visually appealing but cold beer, the best pina colada we had on the cruise, and some tasty plantain chips drew us in. Raymond, the bartender, was a character and definitely a local. Open, friendly, funny - made our hour or so there a great time.
Want to wind down from and excursion or slide into a cool place for food and drinks? This is the place in Falmouth

“Just Relax, Enjoy the Culture”
Reviewed 1 August 2013

Our cruise stopped in Falmouth, Jamaica. Yes, we could hauled off the ship in a dead run attempted to beat the other 5000 to the local tour sites, but instead we decided it was our vacation, we were going to take our time and enjoy the markets, the people, and the culture. Yes, we saw Jimmy Buffets chain restaurant and bar, instead we went a few feet further and ended up at Spice Kitchen and Bar. It is located at the end of the cruise ship pier on Seaboard Street (close to Margaritaville). The bright orange sign with the Rooster makes this little bar stand out. There we met Ray, the bartender, and all the wait staff. Our time at the bar was filled with stories of the city, the local politics, and some cold beer and snacks. Yes, we returned to the ship without seeing any of the 'noted' sites, but our time was well spent, as we enjoyed the humanity of the island and the city. Now, that's a nice vacation.
