Two other places were closed... Going on bio bay kayak tour (which was great)... Settled for Blue Bahia. Meal was pretty horrible for the price. I thought with $20+ a plate we were going to be ok... Avoid if you can. Waitress was nice... Wife called it diner food.

We went to this restaurant because we accidently missed the one we were planning to go to and had a boat tour. Didn't have to time to return or do any research so decided to have late lunch/early dinner there. What a DISSAPPOINTMENT!!!! We should have been warned by a rotten food smell when you walk in and dirtiest chairs we've seen. The prices are outrageous for the quality... Our 2 year old son had Mac & Cheese which was the only dish that was eddible. We ordered fried cheese which was terrible by itself plus served with smth like Thousand Island dressing out of a bottle; sweet plantains that are hard to mess up, but some peaces were dried out like they were old or not ripe or smth else happened to them. My husband had Mahi Mahi and Oh Boy! It looked BAD and tasted even worse. It had mango salsa that was bitter and looked like mango juice with small pieces of mango poured on top of fish and even with that it was dry and extremely salty. Side dish was a mount of dried mashed yuka. It was a pain to pay $20 for such a dissappointing dish. Oh, and the service was just as bad to add to the experience.

Our food was very good however we waited a long time to get it. One person in our party order a salad and two of us got the fish. The salad came after a 20 minute wait and after another 20 minutes the fish dishes came. It would have been nice to all eat at the same time. The fish tasted fresh and was very good. Prices are $15-$24.

I went looking for a specific restaturant in the area of Fajardo but since the first one was closed I asked the locals for an alternative. What a dissapointment was Blue Bahia: the waitress not so friendly; the food was bland. The "mofongo" a dissater, the chicken poorly seasoned, etc. The prices not cheap for poorly presented and flavorless dishes. Don't waste your time and money.

We went for lunch and I had an absolutely divine trunkfish turnover that I am still craving to this day! We sat out on the deck and had a lovely afternoon. The service wasn't exceptional and the food was slow to come out, but we enjoyed sitting outside and enjoying the atmosphere while snacking. Not the most fine dining we experienced but worth it none the less
