Well Wow!!! Unexpectedly delicious food, so much variety, yummm! Sweet music & a great show. Beautiful, friendly & generous staff. We were so spoilt by the lovely Jackson & Mali. Dining in the water was wonderful & something I would highly recommend to anyone travelling to Denarau. We hope to return.

We arrived early morning at the Radisson and were having breakfast when we asked our waiter Thomas for anything he would recommend we do during our stay. He came back with the leaflet for dinner at the Lomani Wai where you have a Kava ceremony with a Fiji warrior, dine in the water with traditional Fiji food, have live entertainment, fire dancers and free flowing wine, beer and soft drinks!
The price was reasonable at around AUD90 equivalent. It is only on a Monday and Friday night so if you get a chance - book this in as it’s an amazing experience!

Our servers for the night were Jackson, Meli and Esther. Once you have the Kava ceremony.... and drunk the Kava (high tide or low tide?) you are seated at your table in the pool. The water is around knee height so wear something shorter or don’t worry about getting wet. The water temp is lovely.
We had the wine, a lovely Sauvignon Blanc for me and my husband had the red which was a Merlot. They are happy to fill up your wine glass as often as you like!
The meal is then delivered course by course with other nibbles also put on your table. It is not hurried and the timing of each course is just perfect. The food was delicious and my husband, who doesn’t normally eat fish, tried everything and especially loved the Fiji Mahi Mahi Kokoda!
During the meal, you are entertained by a singer with a guitar for a while and then the fire dancers come on and do a show and then the singer comes back and entertains you again.

We had also been asked early on if we were celebrating any occasion and our trip was for our 25th wedding anniversary so we told them about that. Later on, the staff all came out and were singing happy birthday to another table and then they turned to us and sang a beautiful ‘happy anniversary’ song and we got a chocolate cake on a plate that said 25th happy anniversary.
This made our night really special!
We were the last to leave, but they don’t hurry you out and tell you not to hurry.
Thank you to all the staff that night for an amazing experience!

My family all came to Fiji for my birthday and I wanted something special for the night. This was fabulous. We ate at a large table in a pool with our feet in the water. Everything was great from the food, our servers, the provided live music, Kava ceremony to the very impressive fire dancing. Would thoroughly recommend this once in a lifetime experience.

All the basics done well - a delicious meal, good value for money and excellent service. If you have the opportunity, do not miss this!

This is more than a good meal, however - it’s an experience not to be missed! A personal dining evening (only 3 tables and 10 guests the night we went) means that it has the feel of something truly special before it even starts. The novelty of sitting with your feet in the pool is fun, but the spectacular entertainment and fire show is really wonderful.

Well done!
