The rooms were fairly nice but no nicer than any other similar priced resort... terrible service. Porter hung about like a bad smell baring the door in our room... presumably waiting for a tip? The day bed areas by the bar were dirty and foul. We had an early flight and were told breakfast would be available ... I had specifically checked to ensure that it be open... even had the email communication in writing but nada. Staff were poorly informed.

Had also stayed at the Sofitel on Denaru where the service was superior.

Would not recommend the Sheraton to anyone.

This resort was absolutely fantastic. My friend and I went for a little mid winter girlie holiday and had a great time! The resort is a good size but not tacky. Being able to use the facilities of the Westin and Sheraton Villas is priceless.

It is quite expensive but bearable - a coke is FJ$5, burger by the pool FJ$25-30 and cocktail FJ$18 and they have this stupid tax of 17.5% on everything – but the settings are beautiful so it is worth it. We also had no problem with ‘Fiji time’ and everyone was very efficient.

However there is a Port Denerau on the island that has about 7 or 8 restaurants (Italian, Indian, Chinese, hard rock café, pizza). The food is half the price and the tax is included. There is a Bula bus that goes to the Port and is $6 for a full day ticket. I think if you buy your Bula bus ticket at The Pantry (take-away lunch place at Sheraton) it has a 10% off food and beverage voucher on the back to use at Sheraton/Westin.

The rooms were excellent! We got the cheapest room available and it was huge, we had 2 double beds, lots of windows and a gorgeous balcony. Very clean, comfy beds, no complaints!!

The resorts are dominated by families and couples! The kids can be a bit noisy but there are adult areas and quiet zones if you want to be left alone. The adult pool at the Westin is spectacular!

The night time in the resort is decent. At the Sheraton the bar had a band every night and the seats are all big cushions. The Westin has a couple too but we didn’t go to these. It is a good mix of being busy but not to the point of being painfully crowded and there are always people strolling between the resorts on the beach at night – very pretty!

You have to be quickish with getting your pool towels. They go by about midday. Also people like to reserve chairs and go for breakfast but mostly it is parents trying to get around the kids pool.

The resorts aren’t great on cultural activities and performances. They do have their own private island that a free boat goes to every hour that isn’t that well advertised but is worth a look.

We had an ocean front room and it was great. Plenty of space, and well equiped with Big TV, A/C, fan, desk, sofa, mini bar, bath and shower.
The resort is also well, equiped with plenty of restaurants, pools, an internet kiosk, plus broadband wireless to room for a charge.
You can also use the facilities of the other branded resorts next door and charge back to your room.
The staff is so friendly and you will say Bulla at least 20 times per day in answer to the staff. The food was of a good quality and prices varied from the free breakfast in the room rate to a fmily style restaurant up to five star 'ports of call'.

All in all, a great place to stay especially when the dollar exchange rate is so favourable.

We recently had a 4 night stay at the Sheraton. We had payed online for a 1 br villa at the sheraton denarau villas. On checkin we were told that they had overbooked and could not give us that particular room type. Not a good start !!!

But then we were told we were upgraded to the presidential suite at the sheraton hotel. (next door to the villas). Fantastic !!! It was apparently the only room that had not been refurbished - so did need an update BUT it was huge with a separate bedroom, massive living/dining area and views to die for with 2 balconies.

We were extremely happy with the Sheraton service and the hotel itself. Buffet breakfast was one of the best I have had. We ate at the beachfront restaurant one night (cant remember the name) and it was magnificent. The pool area was lovely, bar great and they had entertainment of an evening.

We would definitely stay there again and keep our fingers crossed to be upgraded. Dont think we could be that lucky again.

Just out the front of the hotel there was a coffee shop with sandwiches, icecreams etc and a small supermarket which was great for snacks, alcoholic drinks to have back in the room etc - all at a reasonable price. Taxi fare into the port was $5. We ate at the port 3 nights out of the 4 we were there as it was so close by.

Ice machines were situated near each block of rooms which was great.

All in all a great stay

got a great deal on wotif, standard room, but with a view to the sea. It is a resort hotel within a hotel resort area but caters well for everyone. standard rooms are spacious, well designed and oh so comfortable. mini bar prices are outrageous, but most resorts are. very relaxed, friendly, effective staff. had a most enjoyable stay. nice "beach " to walk, golf course looked inviting even though I dont play. best buffet breakfast I've seen in a while. no hesitation in suggesting others to stay. ( Ice machine for each group of rooms was such a bonus) if you can get a deal... do it.
