“Nyrees pies are as good as she claims !”
Reviewed 30 January 2014

Having stopped by the fantastically turquoise Lake Tekapo, and visited the little church of the Good Shepherd overlooking it we stopped at Musterers for a bite. Nyree bakes the pies herself, and claims them to be great...( well she would wouldn't she?) But seriously they were every bit as good as she claimed...Try the Steak pie in particular!

“Worth a visit”
Reviewed 4 January 2014

We were taken to this quirky cafe by locals. Parking was easy, right outside, with a short walk across the gardens and verandah and into the main cafe area. Seating inside comprises a variety of styles, including 1960s Formica tables and chairs, with outdoor chairs on the verandah, and garden tables beyond. Interesting antiques and memorabilia are talking points. We had tea, coffee and homestyle cakes, (all apparently made on site) and each of us was very happy with the selection. An on-site gift shop has many well-priced handicrafts, clothes and homewares. Beside the cafe is 18 hole mini golf, and rickshaw bike hire. Our local friends frequent this cafe often, and we would certainly call again.

“Tasty and substantial breakfast”
Reviewed 18 December 2013

The ambiance of the place is lovely. They have toys for the kids, old fashioned booth seats and formica tables, and really really good food. The playground and minigolf just outside adds to the charm.
