We stayed 3 nights in the wonderfully spacious studio suite. Trish and Davey are perfect hosts and provided everything we could possibly need to make our stay enjoyable. Although we ate dinner out every evening, had we wanted to we could have cooked 'Cordon Bleu', the kitchen was so well equipped. Trish's baking is famed and second to none. The bed was comfortable and although we did not need it, included an electric blanket. We certainly would not hesitate to recommend this B&B as the place to stay in Wanaka for a most comfortable and relaxing experience. And finally, when the weather allows, the view of the Avalanche Glacier is delightful. If the weather does not allow the view, Trish and Davey's garden is just lovely.

Room Tip: The studio is spacious and has a kitchenette and dining area. There are other guest bedrooms and whi...

One of the most delightful places we have stayed in. The accommodation was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The views across the garden to the snowfields of Mt Avalanche are just amazing, and it is an easy and beautiful walk into Wanaka along the lakeshore. Trish and Davey were perfect hosts, giving us lots of useful information about the area, as well as delicious breakfast provisions.
For a couple travelling around New Zealand, this was the perfect place to spend a couple of days and we only wish it could have been longer.Hopefully next time, it will!

A lovely, spacious and very comfortable studio opening on to a large deck with private barbecue and a pretty garden. The room has stunning views over flowers, trees and meadows to the glacier in the distance. All this is just a short walk from the lakefront. Trish and Davey are marvelous hosts, full of useful ideas and guidance covering places to go, and things to see as well as walks, wineries and restaurants. Trish also provides scrumptious breakfast provisions and treats, including her fantastic muffins. We didn't want to leave - but we'll be back.

Great place to relax in the garden with a view of glacier after visiting beautiful Lake Wanaka. Trish makes excellent muffins too. Everything in perfect condition. Extra room for those traveling with family or friends.

We stayed in Trish's apartment for only 1 night, but so wish we had time to stay longer! The garden surrounds are sublime and extremely well manicured. In addition to this, it offers the most amazing view of a glacier, which seems somewhat surreal, but it's very true. The apartment is beautifully decked out with all the mode cons you could desire. Trish is an lovely host, and very hospitable. She welcomed us with home baked muffins, which were delicious. We're already thinking ways to get back over the New Zealand and Trish's place will be a definite again. Thank you so much for having us!

Imagine a dream B and B. It is a large room where you not only have a super comfy bed but a couch, TV and DVD player, kitchenette, bathroom with plush towels and oodles of hot water, a sunny garden with covered patio, outdoor tables and chairs, bar b q, hammock. Imagine that instead of having breakfast at a set time ,everything you need is placed in your fridge the day before. Fresh fruit, home made jams and lemon honey, a range of teas and coffees, so you can have breakfast whenever you want. Imagine coming home each afternoon to freshly baked muffins in your room, your laundry done and fresh flowers on the table. Imagine perfect hosts who book restaurants for you, leave biscuits in your fridge with a little note' For your hike tomorrow', who are there if you need them but never intrude. Now imagine that from the room through the garden you have a perfect view over the field of horses to a stunning glacier! We thought we were dreaming! It was almost too good to be true. There was only one negative:!We only booked for 3 nights and should have stayed much longer! This really is the only place to stay in Wanaka!

We stayed for one night in Avalanche B&B coming from Te Anau going to our prebooked B&B in Fox Glacier. It was a pity that we couldn't stay two or three days more. The B&B is located in an absolut quiet area. The B&B offers a studio with kitchenet, bedroom and sitting area. Continentel breakfast supplies including homemade muesli and cakes are included. The studio has also an outdoor sitting area with large barbeque, which we used. The view from the veranda is gorgeous.
Trish and David are wonderful hosts. They recommended us a scenic lake walk just around the corner. The walk was beautiful.
Next time we will definitely stay longer!
