If you have forgotten what the toys of your distant childhood were like you must visit this museum for a trip into history. An amazing plethora of toys and games on display together with a host of old cars, special- purpose vehicles, implements and aircraft. of a bygone age to bring back memories, as well.

I'm not a car, plane, train etc enthusiast but really enjoyed this despite my lack of passion. We went there to kill an hour before a jetboat experience but we enjoyed it so much the receptionist said we could come back later the same day or the next to finish looking around. We thought this was extremely generous so went back without having to pay another entrance fee. From planes to tanks, you will see it here. You can also see some novelty cars such as one that has been built that apparently can be driven facing both ways (if you know what I mean). And i havent even mentioned the toys. a real nostalgia trip for any age. children are well catered for with play areas and games, a great playground and some rides. Cute cafe/bar, friendly staff. A potential wet day activity as well. Cheap entrance fee for potentially hours of entertainment.

There are a wide range of cars, motorbikes, trucks, tanks, planes to look out, as well as toys, tools and appliances galore. Many of them bring back memories. The problem is that you are likely to find a jigsaw puzzle or teddy bear in a car or a car amongst the Barbie doll collection. They are in the process of building a 3 storey building which should help to sort out the interesting though jumbled collections.
