Greeted by a really friendly face at reception. Nice extra touches - free milk and WiFi.

Room was great - good cooking space, spacious shower room, king sized bed, comfy couch and outside dining area.

About a fifteen minute walk to town but only minutes from the lake shore.

We wished we could stay longer.

Manuka cresent was a very pleasant surprise after a long drive from Te Anau.
We had a room at the back of the facility and it had everything you would need during a stay.
The bed was nice and firm. A frigde and cooking facilities were present and you could also make use of the bbq's outside the room. You had a table inside, just outside the room and picnic benches at which you could enjoy your meals

The motel is suited for groups, couples and families. There's a small pool and trampoline on site for people to enjoy.
It's not very close to the town centre or supermarket. We took the car to the centre which was a 5 minute drive. You could walk it, but on a hot day taking the car is nice and if you look around a bit, you can find good parking spaces.
Because it's a bit out of town, you can relax a lot here. Definately good value for money.
The staff is very friendly and helpful so if you have questions, don't hesitate to ask.

The town of Wanaka is small, but has a very nice feel to it. It's definately recommendable to spend some time on the beach and treat yourself at one of the nearby bars with something cool.

You can drive to Queenstown from here in about 45 minute or an hour, depending on wether you take the road up a windy hill or the easier route passing many vineyards.

No lake view but we found this motel very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful. While not centrally located it had the advantage of being nice and quiet. A car isn't essential but would certainly make life easier. I would definitely recommend it to those on a budget, but not wanting to compromise on cleanliness and comfort. We'll stay again when next in Wanaka.

Stayed here for one night with a friend in studio 14 for $90. Separate living area with fridge, microwave, tv. Comfortable twin beds in the next room, and then a great shower in the bathroom. Milk supplied by friendly staff at reception. No view, but short drive or walk to town and the lake, and nice and quiet to sleep. I would stay here again.

We stayed at a studio with a little kitchenette which is a great option than to eat at restaurants charging $30 a meal. We found the place to be clean and tidy situated in a quiet street. Heating is adequate and overall a nice little cabin stay.
Location wise you would prefer to have a car though otherwise it'd be quite a long walk out to towncentre.

This motel offered excellent value for money. The studio room was well appointed with a kitchenette, cooktop and microwave, dining area, king and single bed and a large bathroom. The motel was very quiet with little noise from adjoining rooms. This motel could be a little too far from town for those without their own transport. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend this motel for those wanting a simple, inexpensive room in Wanaka.
