“Need to go back”

This is one of those places I need to go back to. Different to simple downhill snow, this place offers an enjoyable experience in the snow.

“Local's Day is a great deal.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 August 2012

Once a month, locals get a rental, lesson, and entrance to Snow Farm for $25. What a deal! Our instructor, Luka (sp?), was totally entertaining and had us xc skiing in no time. Wishing there was a little more to look at, but we are just beginners so we skied in circles a lot.

Really helpful staff, brilliant set up and a great family day out. Had a huge amount of fun with 2 wee kids on tobogans, was a fun way to enjoy our 1st trip as a family to the snow, lunch was really nice and was plenty of it.!

“Great for kids”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 July 2012

We came here after trying to go tubing at Remarkables and being turned away as there was not enough snow in the tubing zone and tabogganing isn't allowed there or at Coronet peak. So took a drive out here so our young son could play in the snow, however were disappointed that there extreme tubing zone was also closed due to lack of snow, however they did let us hire a couple of tubes and taboggans for $10 and play in the beginners area. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was quiet when we came which makes a nice change to the other packed ski fields. The view from the top is amazing and we would happily come back again, when our son wants to learn how to ski.
