Say Boon and I stayed at The Dell during our Wanaka stop during our honeymoon for two nights. We heard from Simon (Sayboon's brother) and Michelle about their lovely experience during their stay and decided to book our homestay with them.
Dave made us feel welcomed and at home during our stay whilst respecting our own privacy. It was really nice of him to prepare chips for us to eat with our salmon. He also invited us to join him and his neighbours for dinner. Enjoyed the curry rice he cooked and had a lovely chat.
Their 2 pups, Ace and Molly were really adorable and fun loving! Dave invited us to join him for their daily walks and we enjoyed having them around.
As Penny was out of town during our stay, Dave invited us to drop by their place for tea few days later when we made our way up the west coast fm Queenstown. It was really a pleasure meeting Penny and as we chatted, she recommended us to go for a cruise in Akaroa when we mentioned we didn't manage to see dolphins. She even called up the company to find out more information for us on the spot! we went for the cruise and it was one of the highlights of our holiday.
The room they prepared for us was cosy, clean and comfortable. The Dell is just 10 mins drive from Wanaka and we definitely recommend anyone to stay there!
