The best part of this hotel was the excellent restaurant and being able to take a dip in the lovely landscaped hot pools in the evening under the stars. However, while the staff were very friendly the room didn't live up to the superior title. Small touches like not being able to put the light on in the bathroom without the noisy fan, an uncomfortable bath, small thin towels, cheap soap, uncomfortable bed that wasn't attached to the wall so it slid away when you sat up, not enough tea, UHT milk pots and a very noisy fridge all let down what should have been a really great stay. If I'd paid less I wouldn't have minded so much, but this place bills itself as a luxury resort - its just not quite there.
