Staff were friendly and the apartment was fabulous. It is spacious and had wonderful views of the lake and mountains. Walkable distance to the main shopping dining area and only about 2 minutes to drive there. Our apartment had a great kitchen and laundry and was well appointed. Our son enjoyed the pool and gaming area. All in all a great place to stay.

Room Tip: Ask for an upstairs apartment with lake and mountain views.

My husband and I stayed here for three nights.
We had asked for a one bedroom apartment with a view of the lake and were really disappointed when we arrived that we did not have a view at all.
The woman at reception however kindly upgraded us to a lovely three bedroom apartment with spectacular views. The apartment was very spacious and modern, very well equipped. Lots of Sky channels as well. You have to pay for internet though.
Although it said in the instructions that it would be serviced daily, that was not the case. The first day no service at all and the second day they came only to change the towels and did not clean anything. As it was spotlessly clean when we arrived that was not a big problem for us. The distance to the centre was no problem as in Wanaka there is plenty of free parking space. All in all a lovely trip and we loved Wanaka, plenty to do and a good choice of restaurants and cafes. We are looking forward to our next visit.

The Alpine Resort in Wanaka provided excellent accommodation. Well located and well set up, but slightly out of town. Lock up small garage with remote control roller door a plus.
Full kitchen, washing machine and dryer in garage, plus nice lounge/eating area.

The drive here from the West Coast over the Haast Pass is extraordinary and quite the most picturesque few hours we've ever spent. The scenery is spectacular and we will never forget it.

We stayed here for one night with our 3 year old daughter. It is out of town, in a slightly strange location in what feels like a business park but this is just the back of it so don't worry. We were greeted warmly by the couple who run the complex and their lovely dog. Apartments here all seemed to be owned by different people and therefore all vary. We were allocated a lovely two bedroom one overlooking one of the swimming pools with a view of the lake below. It seemed almost new, with a big open plan living / dining room with kitchen and two bedrooms. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed including brilliantly equipped kitchen for self catering and a washing machine and drier - very convenient. There were glass sliding doors onto a small garden too.
We were lucky to be here on a very hot day so we made full use of the swimming pool and hot tub from which we enjoyed wonderful views over Lake Wanaka. A beautiful spot to spend a couple of hours.
We drove into the town to eat, and despite intending to try one of the local restaurants ended up with fish, chips and ginger beer on the Lake Front under a willow tree as the sun went down. It was sheer perfection and one of our most memorable moments from our NZ road trip. The town itself is gorgeous - full of amazing delis and places to eat, plus a good range of shops. We wish we could have stayed longer.
The only potential down side of this accommodation is that it is out of the main town and not easily walkable so if you don't have a car it might not suit. However, we were very impressed with these apartments and would happily stay here again and recommend it to others.

Superb accomodation. Excellent high end facilities throughout, and plenty of space for the six of us including two kids to stretch out and enjoy our stay. We were upgraded to a townhouse with incredible views and sitting on the outdoor balcony with a glass of wine is a treasured memory. Would not hesitate to book this accomodation again next time we are in Wanaka. Excellent customer service too, extremely friendly.
