This Lodge has it all. Friendly people, outstanding food ( actually better than outstanding), comfortable beds, great location, fabulous views. The spaces for guests are large, tasteful and thoughtful. The lodge was designed for beauty and comfort. Stefanie and Denis are generous with everything, truly gifted in hospitality. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

This is the kind of place you'd like to live in. It is a fairly intimate experience - if you like to be completely independent it isn't for you. But the hosts are friendly but not overbearing - in short, they get it right.

Very stylish accommodations: modern, spotless and comfortable. Drinks and canapes and breakfast included; dinner is extra. We didn't eat here, as my husband has some dietary restrictions, but next time we will with notice. We were given excellent recommendations for dining in town.

My only criticism, and it's minor, is that you're in suburbia. The other lodges we stayed in were more remote, and that's what we prefer. Mind you, it's very nice suburbia, and once you close the door it doesn't matter, but if this were located 5km up the road it would be completely fantastic.

We would definitely go back.

Lovely modern lodge located out in the residential area of Wanaka. Stephanie and Denis the owners welcomed us warmly and greeted us with cake, wine and beer. We also had the dinner which was excellently prepared and cooked by Tiff. Rooms had fantastic views and beds where lovely and comfortable. Would highly recommend, especially having the dinner with matching NZ wines. Breakfast and the pre dinner canapes where also excellent.

Tiritiri Lodge is an absolute gem of a place to stay. Dennis, Steph and Tiff are wonderful hosts and I received a very warm welcome accompanied by a lovely cold beer and cake! The Lodge has been stunningly and thoughtfully designed and my room had the most extraordinary view across Wanaka lake. Tiff is a great cook, so opt for an evening meal with them if you can - in fact, insist on an evening meal during your stay! This place is classy and a haven of tranquility. I hugely enjoyed the hospitality and generosity of the owners, who couldn't have been more helpful or entertaining. Don't bother going anywhere else in Wanaka!

Tiritiri Lodge is a beautiful and warm place, and is the most wonderful lodge we've ever stayed. We were appreciated with the warm welcoming of Stephanie, Denis and lovely Frankie, and surprised by Tiffany's food which was really amazing. The room was comfortable and had very beautiful views. We should stay more days next time.

We'd spent 2 nights at Tiritiri Lodge during New Year eve. We were very appreciated with the warm welcoming of the host, Stephanie and Danish. We arrived there in late afternoon and they served us with Asian style finger food which was really good. Though the deluxe room is similar to the hotel's room and you have to share balcony with the other quests cause there are 3 bedrooms in the main building but you can relax in living room and the rest space of the house. We felt homy in Tiritiri Lodge from the hospitality of the owner. They set a beautifully breakfast for my family in the nice sunroom next to the kitchen. Freshly baked macaroon was served for afternoon tea. We decided to have dinner at the lodge on New Year eve since I read that Tiffany is a good chef. And we knew on that day that all the guests ( around 10 ) will have dinner together. The dining table was thoughtfully set up with the names on the table with made us really happy and enjoyed our dinner. Tiffany's food is really good, we loved her poached salmon and beef Wellington, both dishes were cooked at the right temperature and time, probably her salmon was the best in this trip.During midnight, the host asked whether we want to see the fireworks from Wanaka town which she will drive us to the hill along lake Wanaka but due to the strong wind then we chose to stay at the lodge, Danish complimented us by playing his grand piano and sang many beautiful songs, fantastic! We left Wanaka with very happy new year and missed the nice and kind host at Tiritiri Lodge.

Room Tip: Choose suite room for privacy or if you booked 3 rooms in the main building, it's good cause you...

We recently stayed at the Tiritiri Lodge and were very pleasantly surprised. We had arrived after staying at a terrrible "boutique" hotel in Queenstown. Tiritiri is wonderful. The rooms are quiet and beautifully decorated. The owner's art collection adorns the many rooms. The main house where cocktails and dinner are served is modern and comfortable at the same time. The hosts, Stephanie and Denis, are so accomodating. Denis also plays a mean piano! One must be sure to mention the superb meals prepared by Tiffany, the chef. Definitely a place to return.
