My husband and I stayed at Riversong for one night after a long drive, were greeted warmly by Ann and enjoyed the lovely upstairs suite. The room was quite large, private bathroom lovely and we had delicious bikkies to go with our tea and coffee!
Ann and Ian were great hosts, and we chatted about a variety of topics (even cricket!) over a wonderful breakfast in the dining room. We were given great advice about the route to take on the next leg of our journey through NZ to Queenstown.

Ann was very welcoming when we arrived and made us feel right at home. She also had recommendations for dinner. Our room upstairs was beautiful and spotlessly clean. Double doors open onto a small deck overlooking the river, giving us wonderful views morning and night, and we left the doors open to hear the river. The private bathroom is large and had everything we needed.

Wanaka is a fun little town, with lots of restaurants and photo ops near the lake and sculptures.

We had to leave early for a long day on the road to Nelson, so Ann made us breakfast to go...it was yummy! Wish we could have stayed longer.

We stayed here for 2 nights while looking around Wanaka. Nothing was too much trouble for Ann & Ian. Breakfast was fabulous and very relaxing. Rooms were spotless and well provided. The location was stunning. We would stay here again with no hesitation.

Beautiful place to stay with tranquil surroundings, however this is a home stay B&B. The room we were in downstairs has a beautiful view of the river and the mountains. Wanaka is only a five minute drive. The breakfasts were always different and very nice with cereal, fruit, eggs, bacon and a muffin. The hosts are friendly and took very good care of all their guests. We came home late one night and found that our electric blankets were on along with the column heater. Great attention to detail and good to talk to.

The Riversong is a magnificent B&B, hosts Ian & Anne are the most friendly and caring people you could wish for. Anns attention to detail at breakfast is first class, with a great range to choose from with a will to please. Both Ian and Ann are very knowlegable couple and very pasionate about Wanaka and its surrounds.
The setting, location and rooms are a picture, accomodation presentation is again first class and would recommend Riversong to any one intersted in a tranquile homestay.
We will be back in the near future.
