Where does one start... Arrived at 1pm no one to meet us. Had to stand outside for 15minutes trying to locate someone to open the front door, to be told we should have been told to phone when we arrived, surely if you know guests are arriving someone should be there. As we were given the key to our room - take note, not shown to our room we were given a list of breakfast choices to choose from. I chose an omelette and circled all the different fillings which in normal supposedly 4 star accommodation they would know that means a teaspoon of each, it means mixed NOT as I got rings of fried onions and so much cheese you could drown in it, worst I have ever eaten and we have travelled extensively. Maybe the cook could go to another establishment and see how it should be made, chopped up finely, me circling everything did not mean I was trying to be funny! On leaving this morning the lady in reception was holding her own personal conversation on the telephone, why bother to greet farewell to paying guests!. I do not recommend this b&b to anyone, if possible just keep driving past Malmesbury. I wonder too how they got a 4 star rating, maybe they should be reviewed again.
