We stayed in this lovely family hotel in the hearth of Wachau one night.
The hotel is very cosy, clean and peacefull with very friendly and helpful staff.
It is located just few meters from Danube river and some rooms have nice view in the garden and vineyards.
The breakfast was very good too with lot of fresh and tasty products.

Our host Marli left a warm impression deeply. Had a warm welcome with her homemade gummy bears. She recommended us dinner options where we had a great time at Heinzle.

Room was clean, bright and airy, simple yet functional. Shower was powerful. Marli and her team put on an amazing breakfast spread with homemade cakes, omelets, cereals, fruits and more. Wish we had more time at the local area for wine tastings. Definitely will stay at Hotel Garni again.

Stayed here as part of an organised cycle tour of the Danube. This is a small , family owned hotel and we really enjoyed our one night stay. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and well appointed.
They were not doing evening meals when we visited but the breakfast was excellent.
The owner was able to give us very good information on where to go to taste local wines which was much appreciated !

This is a small and very friendly hotel in a delightful place. The rooms were attractively decorated and comfortably furnished and the bathroom modern and immaculate. The bed was rather too hard for my taste. The owners were very friendly and helpful and took a personal interest in their guests. The breakfast was wonderful and so attractively and imaginatively displayed. I was very pleased that our trip allowed for two nights here.

We spent two nights at this small hotel. Our greeting was kind and courteous and our rooms were very pleasant and immaculate. The proprietors were very informative and took time to speak to all the guests during their stay. The breakfast was so well laid out and looked so attractive that my friend rushed to find her camera to take a picture as a reminder. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

I stayed with my group here for a couple days and all of us could not have been happier. The proprietress, Frau Mandl, makes sure that guests have their wishes met and is a font of information on the area, from restaurants and wineries to historical sites.

Rooms are generous and comfortable, spotlessly clean and inviting. The breakfast rivals the best I ever had - a generous offering of all the specialties the area produces (the homemade apricot jam alone would bring me back to this hotel).

There is a small "Weinstube" (cozy wine lounge) where guests can gather and help themselves to drinks, including excellent wines (honor system). The hotel is situated very well, near the Danube, with easy walking access to neighboring wine villages or walks up the vineyards for panoramic views of the area.

The price/quality ratio of this small gem is excellent and I hope to stay here again in the near future.

Located in a quiet village along the Danube, this hotel met all our expectations for a peaceful and uneventful stop. The owner was friendly and helpful without being invasive. The room was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. This is a very recent construction, but still, it has an old charm and style. The breakfast consisted of a very generous buffet. The hotel doesn't serve dinner but there are some restaurants at walking distance in the village. The free wi-fi was certainly a plus!

My husband and I usually find a little something in each hotel that annoys us, but not that time! Everything was just perfect!
