Well thought out villa with all amenities you could want. We have enjoyed a relaxing holiday in the villa and there are plenty of interesting towns activities etc nearby.
The villa has effective wifi, good sized accomodation and near to a small village, Saint Pargoire (which has 2 small supermarkets, 2 bread/cake shops, bar, butchers, pizza restaurant and a good quality restaurant Lou Regalou).
The villa is tastefully decorated, comfortable and is open plan. There is air con and even
a grand piano. The owner is an artist and many of her works add to the ambience of the property.
Owners are friendly, attentive if required and not at all intrusive. One small issue was dealt with immediately. Information about the local area is comprehensive and available to peruse.
The local area is quite peaceful but this is a wine growing area so expect the rattle of tractors every so often.
The pool is cleaned every week and good for cooling down. It is fairly shallow and good for children, alarmed, but easily accessible so you still need to keep an eye on youngsters.
Nearby Pézenas is highly recommended; Wednesday night art markets and Friday night gourmet and art evenings with wine tasting and wonderful "street food".
Bélarga has a river beach, swimming and fishing, only a few miles away.
The coast is only a short drive away and there are lots of really interesting and attractive towns, cities and countryside to explore. Take care on some of the D roads eg. D15 near Crozes!. Satnavs aren't always that reliable. Offroading vehicles would be better equipped for this terrain.
The Languedoc area is lovely, the villa delightful and we would gladly stay for longer and return in the future.
