“Old world and fine dining near Toulouse france”
Reviewed 17 December 2012

This is a owner/family run hotel and they make a big effort to make you happy! Its in the countryside so is very calm, quite and makes for good sleeping!
We have stayed here on many occasions, alone,as a couple on a romantic weekend, while looking for a place to rent for a year, as a family and some over nighters. We keep going back.
It is very old world and a little run down in a very french feel at home way. Apparently they are doing it up bit by bit. Some of the rooms are really big and gractious others small cottage size but comfortable. As we keep coming back they always give us what they consider their best rooms and we appriciate this. The mattresses are comfortable...not soft but not firm either, it all depends on what you like. We love to wander the terraces or the glasshouse and find little spots to sit and view the countryside.
There is also a restaurent here which is a great plus.We have eaten there on many occasions including our sons school graduation ceremony which was only super, very well done ,and a most pleasant night out from apero to afters and not to expensive. Would recommend it for occassions! With regards to our dining here we have had both super food and disappointment. The food is good but we have dietry restrictions which does cause difficulty on occasions but they are very willing to give you what you request within their means. Mainly we have had good meals. It is very french cuisine and not for the chip and burger lovers and is pricey. The dining room is a bit 'formal' but nobody dresses up formally to eat there. In the summer or when the weather is good dining is outside which is just lovely.
We would recommend this charming hotel. Certainly there is nowhere that can match it in and around the Toulouse area but just remember it is french and so is the food and dining hours.
There is plenty of parking space.

Room Tip: ask for the older, larger rooms...We like the downstairs rooms which all have french windows opening...

This is not a good place to stay. The service was sloppy and unfriendly, the room small and the bed very narrow for a double room. After staying in the Chateau Hotel Mirembeau near Bordeaux, the days before and at Clos Reymi in Eperney the days after this hotel, we can say that the restaurant and the food/service were well below average and the food a disappointment. We took the hotel's degustation menü and can say it was not an acceptable value for the money charged.
