“Good traditional Provencal fare”
Reviewed 2 June 2013

Aigo Blanco offrers good food and good service. Most diners seemed to be enjoying lamb dishes and these were very tender and tasty. The menu is typical of any restaurant in the area, with 2 or 3 of dishes from each of lamb, beef and fish, also a selection of pastas. Nothing to complain about by way of food, or the wine selection.

Unfortunately, like most Forcalquier restaurants, Aigo Blanco falls into shade in the evening, so while you can have a pleasant al fresco dinner, don't expect to watch the evening sun go down.

“Nice and tasty”
Reviewed 5 November 2012

Brilliant lamb sourced locally. They change their menus in the winter for more mountain dishes based on different melted cheese. The Provencal medley plate in the summer offers a good overal taste of local products

“Decent but nothing overly special”
Reviewed 23 September 2012

We used Forcalquier as our base to explore Provence and had dinner at Aigo Blanco. I had the entrecote with frites and my wife a salad. I chose the blue cheese sauce for the steak, being a classic. My wife's salad (we always share our meals) was ok, nothing special, as was my steak. If you are in this village and would like a dependable meal, then this will do. But don't expect to have your socks knocked off.

“Good food in a great location”
Reviewed 29 August 2012

This restaurant is a great drop in for lunch on a hot day with a selection of salads and a full a la carte menu. The service is fast and friendly with reasonable prices. For the full menu avoid Market day (monday) as the Restaurant is super busy and has an adjusted menu with less choice. The service however is just as speedy.

“Our pick: Aigo Blanco in Manosque”
Reviewed 9 July 2012

We went to Aigo Blanco and were stoned by the friendliness of the staff. The manager on duty was very funny and kept on making sarcastic and smart comments to its clients, all in a good way & tune.
Food was served in big plates or regional plates. It was just delicious and a salad was big enough for a one-person diner..

Don't leave the place before tasting their local digestive made of thym.... delicious!
If you've not yet tried this place, you just don't know where to find good food in Manosque!

For an average ticket of 25-30€ you'll get a very nice diner in a cosy atmosphere.... worth a try!
