not really a hotel but a collection of bungalows and en-suite rooms. If I return I will request a room in the main building.
the room was excellent with fridge and kettle, and a little patio. not very private. The pool area was quite small, I did not use it as my family had one of the bungalows with a pool . The spa was very expensive, again I did not use it. The wifi did not work except in the main building. This was disappointing as I like to use it in the evenings before bed.
breakfast very expensive.
the restaurant close to the hotel was excellent, well worth a visit.

We've been there for a romantic weekend and it's just the ideal place for something like that. Service is good, the hotel, pool and spa look beautiful and like they've been recently renewed, the general feeling is to be somewhere very private and charming. We will come back!

Lovely bungalows situated in a large garden. The rooms are large and well decorated and include a little patio outside to relax and enjoy a drink. The pool is not very large but reasonably sized for an hotel. The fact that there is no restaurant for dinner in the premises is not a problem as the restaurant somehow linked to the hotel is less than 5 men's walk away and serves great food. We wished we could have stayed longer in this little gem.

This is not so much a hotel as a little village of cottages and blocks of beautifully appointed spacious en suite rooms with balconies. Depending on which one you get, it can be very private, though the ones nearer the restaurant were a bit more public. Lovely lawns, swimming pool etc and spa with expensive treatments. The restaurant nearby is a separate business and is very affordable, unless you are on a tight budget, in which case you won't be here! Has kettle (one tea bag!!) and mini bar fridge which is not very cold but better than nothing. Also only one very small (though posh!) waste paper basket. We did our own breakfast on our balcony so can't comment on how good the, expensive, hotel breakfast was.

The hotel was in a lovely peaceful and rural setting with beautiful views from the terrace and the rooms were decorated and furnished to a high standard. The restaurant however is individually managed although on the hotel grounds and does let the place down, the food was very basic and i would not have wanted to eat there for more than one night - considering the rural location and the fact that most people may go there not wanting to venture far from the hotel it could really do with a better restaurant. There were also no tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms which for 4* i would normally expect. It would have been nice if there was a bar area in the lounge where you could get a drink. The indoor pool and spa area is lovely but very small - we went out of season and it was still too busy - there are only enough loungers for 4 people. I booked a pedicure thinking i wouldn't have to lie down as I was pregnant, it was the first pedicure in my life where there was no chair and i had to lie down, i ended up getting faint and having to leave half way through - they did knock 10 euros off the price. All in all a great location and lovely rooms - i would probably go back if there was a new restaurant.

Room Tip: Get one with a terrace.

We stayed here during 8 days in July 2012. The hotel is a kind of small estate located outside town overlooking a hill, and adjacent to other holiday cottages. It has a main building and several little bungalows provencals where the superior rooms are located. This creates a kind of "club" feeling although they are distributed in a rectangle which creates a lot of privacy. The superior rooms are very stylish and clean and you get a really private terrace surrounded by a small hedge., integrated into the garden where the crickets are singing upon reading a book.
Nice swimming pool located below the main building which is overlooking the terrain and where the excellent breakfast is served, fresh and plenty.
Staff is gentle, friendly and customer-oriented
Excellent stylish hotel aimed at people and couples who seek a rather relaxing quiet stay.
Only small negative points I could think of is price, it's a rather expensive hotel, it has no own restaurant, and as already said on this site, the garden is a bit too "sterile" although nice and well cared for, but still this is a great boutique hotel I would recommend.

There are very many good points to this hotel; the rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean and well (if rather ornately decorated); the staff are charming; the breakfast is excellent and good value; there is a large, comfortable terrace on which to relax; and the swimming pool is a nice size with plenty of sunbeds (which did not stop one couple from quite unnecessarily marking out their territory early with their own towels - their nationality would be no surprise).

But there are drawbacks too in particular it is not really a proper country hotel since although it is on the edge of town it is surrounded by a large estate of quite closely packed holiday homes. Moreover the garden is manicured and more like a public park than a country house garden.

Great for a short stop but perhaps not for a long stay.
