This was a great choice. We choose Cotignac for one night along our journey and were very happy with our choice. The property is on an olive orchard. The owners have a wonderful collection of art you can enjoy over breakfast when not engaged in conversation with other guests from a variety of locales. Cotignac was a pleasant surprise. We really had no idea what the area was like and were very pleased.

We have just returned from spending 3 very relaxing days at La Radassiere. Maryse and Richard offer a perfect blend of attentiveness whilst giving their guests the space to do their own thing too. There was no better way to start the day than a wonderful breakfast served on the sunny terrace with views across the beautiful provencal countryside. Local honey, grapes from the vines overhead, fresh coffee, fruit, eggs - it was all just so lovely. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with plenty of outside space to relax and have a glass of wine - there really is nothing more we could have asked for - apart from a few more days so we could stay a bit longer!

We visited France for 5 weeks this summer, mainly camping and La Radassiere was a mid holiday treat. And what a treat! Such a wonderful place and Maryse and Richard made us so welcome. A great mix of people, French, Brits and Belgians. We're already planning our return visit!

We would drive from the UK this evening is we could, for that pool, those views and the breakfast!!!

Absolutely wonderful place, very well described by other users. The owners made us feel like their friends. We loved breakfast on the terrace and have made friends from all over the world through sitting there, some mornings, for a couple of hours or more.
I would like to correct an earlier review. It is not a 5-10 minute drive from Cotignac, more like a 2 minute drive or a 15 minute stroll into the town. Cotignac Market on Tuesday is great, and I personally don't like shopping!

Stunning and unique scenery and sights within a few miles and Marseille, St Tropez, Nice, Cannes and Monaco well within a couple of hours drive. Lunch in Italy is a possibility, we had tea there after our visit to Monaco.
After 11 nights at La Radassiere in May/June, we are driving down from northern England for another week in August, a 1000 mile each-way journey. Says is all I think.

Room Tip: All rooms are different and very good.

Location: excellent, from Cotignac you can visit most towns around Var and Cote Azur easily. The town of Cotignac is great.
Accommodations: beautiful olive tree gardens, small swimming pool, nice rooms with private garden, small refrigerator,
Service: very nice service, owners are pleasant and helpful
Breakfast included: nice croissants, an egg, fresh fruit.
Beds: Nice, not excellent beds.
Overall I highly recommend this place. My only complaint (if I have to include one) was the coffee, which I really did not like (but drank it, no problem), other than that is was perfect.

Room Tip: If you like big pillows, request one in advance or bring your own. Their pillows are very flat. I ha...

Stayed two nights here and had a great time. The owners are very welcoming and helped us a lot navigating the sights in the area -- Sillans la Cascade, Abbaye du Thoronet, and the Sainte Rosaline Chapel in Les Arcs. We enjoyed our breakfasts on the terrace of the owners, it was a wonderful way to start the day, loved the homemade jams. Our room was clean and featured art works from local artists.

La Radassiere is the most charming place, located in the middle of an olive grove. Our room was spacious, clean and wonderfully decorated with various artworks from local artists. The couple who owns the place is hospitable and warm, and I loved eating breakfast on their veranda every morning under their grapevines. Just be warned that the town of Cotignac is a 5-10 minute drive, and is not really walkable. This did not end up being an issue for us, but it was a bit of a surprise so if you intend to stay at the town you may want to consider another spot.
