If you are looking for a romantic, private B&B....look no further. This charming B&B is not only welcoming and pretty, but it is also comfortable and relaxing.
I had the Mimosa room which is accessible via external stairs. All the rooms are very private and have their own external entrance. The decor is typical Provence; warm taupe, white, light grey, green etc. The bathroom was small but not tiny. There was room for my huge beauty case, so that was a plus. There is also a hairdryer for you ladies who like to know these things.
The towels and linens are not changed daily, and you have to bring your own towel for the pool. The garbage is emptied every day.
The host Andre is very nice and welcomes all types of questions. He is utterly at your disposal and will book restaurants etc.
The grounds are well kept and clean. The flowers and plants are lovely. The swimming pool is a good size and also very clean. There are enough sun chairs and umbrellas for every couple. There are some mosquitos...but not lots. I was prepared with bug spray and citronella candles, but I didn't really need them (and I'm one of those people that will not sleep if I hear something buzzing above my head or in the room).
The breakfast is simple and consists of: a baguette and 2 croissants (each room gets their own bread basket), jam, butter, 4 slices of cheese, a glass of OJ, coffee, tea, water and seasonal fruit, in my case is was peaches. It is EXCELLENT quality. I couldn't get enough of the bread. The jam is home made.
The full season rate of €150/ night plus occupancy tax (around €4,50), was not cheap for a B&B, but the quality was very good and all the rooms were fully booked.
A very nice experience. I would definitely go back.
