We (a party of 4 adults) booked the restaurant during the day, to arrive at 8pm. The restaurant is typical of the auberges in the area, very rustic looking, atmospheric and pretty, so we expected an enjoyable evening. Sadly, we were massively disappointed and bluntly it was the attitude of the staff that was the problem. We were seated quickly and ordered some aperatifs and our meals. However the meals did not arrive for over 1 1/2 hours and indeed only arrived after we threatened to leave, having asked the waitress two or three time why the delay. We were told that the restaurant was busy and that "everyone arrives at 8pm". Yet it didn't appear overly busy and other customers had been seated after us and finished their meals before ours had even arrived! The waitress (we think an owner) offered no apology at all, gave no indication at any time that there would be a delay and seemed offended that we dared to ask where our meals were. Actually we weren't in a rush, so had she exercised more "customer care" we wouldn't have minded, but it was very clear she didn't care at all. Sadly the food, when it arrived, was disappointing and we couldn't wait to leave. We won't be visiting it again!
