If you don't have young children and are a reasonable/good skier and just want reasonable food and accommodation go somewhere else in Paradiski.

We stayed in Club Med Meribel Antares last year which was superb and expected Peisey-Vallandry Club Med to be as good (same rating). Couldn't have been more disappointed. Room and food were average at best. We struggled some nights to find anything we wanted to eat

Club Med will not be on our list for future ski holidays.

Spent a week with a small group of adult friends at this club. We were given a warm welcome by all from the moment we arrived. Our thanks to our ski instructors, Laurent and Phillippe, for a fun ski week. The sun shone and so we were able to swim and sunbathe in the afternoon. So lucky with the weather! The lifeguard Julien took good care of us, including being a pleasant dinner companion and a pleasure to watch in the show. Our meals were made more special by the care of our waiter Hasan, which we all appreciated.
Club Med provides a great option for an easy all-inclusive ski week.

I can only say that this holiday exceeded our expectations in every way. Great rooms, staff, food, kids club and skiing lessons. Our two boys 7 and 5 loved it. And even fantastic snow walking group for non skiing Dad to get some great exercise. Thanks to Georges and the team!

Thought I would write this, my first ever Tripadvisor review, as I think it is so difficult to find the right place to take the family skiing - so many unknowns etc. In short I was so glad we took the plunge and chose to stay here. We travelled with our children - 12,10 and 6. Facts are as follows:
Pro's: Fantastic, varied food. Highly organised with really brilliant multilingual ESF teachers in the ski school. Hotel feels alive, there is always something going on and the staff are excellent. We had interconnecting club rooms which gave us loads of space - very well designed. All very relaxing and lovely to be all inclusive too.
Con's: Up to age 11 there can be up to 12 kids to 1 teacher in the Ski School. Two of our children were the only English speakers in their group of 12 so obviously the vast majority of teaching will be in French. The kids amazingly didn't seem to mind but just something to be aware of. Our 12 year old has never skied before and because of her age was put in an adult group which she was very apprehensive about at first, however the group actually turned out to only have 5 or 6 people in it and she has been taught to ski beautifully and was very happy. French language does obviously, and quite rightly, dominate but again, it really didn't seem to matter. Finally, my husbands huge bug bear was the Wifi which firstly you have to pay for, and secondly cuts out the whole time. It drove him crazy! but all in all Club Med did us proud.

This was our fourth experience at a ski Club Med and our best experience so far. We were a bit worried about the lack of snow but were lucky that it fell in buckets the day after arriving. In saying that on arrival the staff were so friendly, positive and encouraging that we "temporarily" forgot about the snow and soaked up the atmosphere.
Valley view rooms on Level -1 excellent. Very spacious and comfortable. The food in the main restaurant was amazing, with lots of variety and very fresh produce but the alternate fondue restaurant wasn't really to our liking.
Our teenagers had a great time in the Junior Club, thanks Jimmy.
Eric, Chef de Village was a great host. The lounge area was very relaxing and at the end of the day it was great to meet up and have a few drinks. I love the ski school as it suits all our families different needs. This trip I didn't want to ski so was encouraged to try raquetting (snow shoe walking) and fell in love with, I am now an enthusiast. Thanks to all the team, we will be back next year.

Room Tip: Level -1 Room have a lovely view. Also close to pool and beauty spa.

1- If you want an English speaking ski instructor insist for 'Simone Sibille'. Club arranges private lessons for you and he made me ski again after the accident I had 15 years ago. He is really very very good, polite, gentle and very good English speaking.
2- Food were marvellous. Perfect pizza, pasta and all other delicious tastes.
3-Stuff was very friendly and polite.
4- Kids club was so fun that I didn't see my child during the holiday. He learned how to ski and loved it. Kids club ski instructors weren't really speaking English but somehow they were able to communicate.
5- Nicola the club chef were always around for any need. He was so friendly , helpful and hardworking.
6- There weren't any English kids channels on tv. That was a little upsetting.
7- Almost half of the guests were Turkish at the club but although I asked for it they didn't arrange a Turkish channel on tv:(
8-Spa pool area wasn't warm so if you are not a ski lover you don't want to stay around pool or you have to put 4 towels to feel warm when you are resting around the pool.
8- For snow walking or beginner skiing group lessons they take you to Sestriere with bus, half of the guests standing half sitting, 20minutes drive. Tiring with all equipment you are carrying and cold. Sometimes you may have to wait for the bus half an hour in Sestriere outside standing.
9- When you need a place to spend your day other than skiing their spa is nice. They have foot jakuzis, very nice feeling, first time experience:), two nice saunas. Silent area where you can get tea and read or rest. 15 euro per day. I liked it.
10- Snow walking activity was nice, almost 2 hours, walking at the mountains full of snow, with only 10 minutes tea break. There was also an advanced level I never tried. It was at 10 am and afternoon sedsion was at 2 pm. A good challenge.

Anyway, that still was a marvellous holiday. Snow was perfect. Village was beautiful, rooms were very beautiful and I may like to come back here another time again. Thanks to everyone.

Superb stay at this Clubmed! Happy people all the time.....check in was a quick affair, room was ready, which is always a bonus after 24 hours of flying and being on the move. A pleasure getting all our ski equipment. Wonderful ski instructor Bernard, so patient as Iam a little crazy with a camera and although our weather was a little grim, we still did some wonderful day outings. Meals good, great selection and lots of evening entertainment. Excellent resort for ski in/out. Thx to Katrina (bar) and Melissa for your great company, and Eric who was always willing to go the extra mile..... just one little the pillows are a little flat, but this is my personal opinion.
