First of all.. whoever is moaning about the music being to loud untill 7am... DONT GO TO MALIA! or Ayia Napa or anywhere else like that.. What do u expect? seriously.

Right.. This hotel is my fave Of all time.. 24 hour bar located on hotel.. rooms very clean and secure.. pool is good. food is good. drinks are cheap... pool table and ps3 to play fifa.. there are 3 pcs to use facebook ect.. Right opposite one of the best clubs in malia.. Club Apollo. Not that expensive. ive stayed here twice. once in june 2009 and once in sep 2009. LOVE THE PLACE!

I and two friends spent a week in the Mirage from 24th August - 1st September. We arrived in the early hours of the morning. We had to wait to check in as there was a cue and only one person (the manager) on desk. We didnt mind waiting as we had afew beers during the process as there is a 24 hour bar which is great.
When we finally got to the desk for check in she seized our passports off us saying we would we given them back at the end of the week, i didnt think anything of it and carried on checking in. for 60 euros you get a safe and air con, id only recommend the safe as the air con is rubbish, to put it plain and simple, you are better off opening your patio door all night.
Once we finished checking in we went up to our rooms, which were find, nice and simple, just somewhere to get your head down after a hard night on the lash. You cannot fault the location of the hotel to be fare, its great.

About 8am in the morning the rep came to give us our welcome meeting, explaining about the excersions. we were tired and it sounded like a really good idea and did the entire lot for the week paying 210 euros for silent disco, booze cruise, beach party, pool party, boy better know, water park. If i could go back id only pick 3, as we were later told after we paid that we could of picked and chosen events to go to, but there working on commission, so obv want as much cash as possible off you, so just be warned.!

Overall me and the lads had a great week, up until the last day. We were awoken at 10am, knowing though we had to be out the rooms for midday, by the rep saying the manager was coming checking the rooms. on her arrival she started shouting at us, saying how we had to pay 60 euros for the dirty sheets (, afew foot marks and naughty stains) but we had no money. She then went on to say that if we could not get the money then she would not give us our passports back and there was a possibility we could be arressted for criminal damage, now thats the last thing you want when you just wanna get back home. so we went to the rep and asked for her adivce, well to put it simple she was no more help then the manager if anything worse, considering she is a rep for the hotel, her attitude and approach to us and the situation was disgusting. She told us the only way to transfer money was from the travel agent in the uk, and then they would transfer it to there office in malia, so we had to do this, only to find out back at home then it cost £20 english pounds to get it transfered and she gets a cut of it as its once again commission based for her.

my advice would be take your own sheets, toilet rolls as you only get 1 on arrival and your own towels to, as you have to pay for them.

like i said the only good things about this hotel, is its location, the 24/7 bar, stella on tap and i suppose the food ent bad either.

Would i go back......possibly, but id take my own sheets.

My two friends and I (aged 18) stayed at the Mirage Studios for one week from 3rd August - 11th August 2010 and had the best week eveeeeeeeer. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who's up for a messyyyy holiday.
The location of the hotel is perfect as its situated in the middle of the actual strip, next to Dominos so there's literally like a 10 second walk to the main bars and clubs in Malia.
The rooms at the hotel are pretty basic but this is what is expected from a 3* hotel with Club 18-30. The maid service is good as the rooms are cleaned every other day. However, new toilet roll isnt not provided and towels have to be paid for. So, I suggest you take your own toilet roll and towels with you if you don't wanna waste alot of time and money. The supermarket is like a 10 min walk from the hotel so if you desperately need toilet roll, steal it from the clubs on the strip :P
The hotel has a decent sized pool and jacuzzi, and a 24 hour bar which is shared between two other 18-30 hotels. The bar is really lively through the day and at night, and serves amazing food and drink 24/7! Oh and the bar man (Nico) is an absolute legend!!
The pool is also quite lively through the day but gets absolutely mental around 5am-ish when everyone jumps in after a night out on the strip. :P
The strip in Malia splits into a Y shape with restaurants up one street and bars and clubs down the other. Some of my favourite bars are Candy, Banana, ZigZag and Apollo.. They have an amazing atmosphere and the PRs will give you some good offers.
If you're gonna buy any packages from the 18-30 rep, i recommend buying Beach Party and Silent Disco as my friends and I really enjoyed these nights out and got really wasted on both occassions. I wouldn't recommend buying Booze Cruise because its pretty boring and watered down Sex on the Beach is the only drink available at the free bar.
Overall, Malia was sooooo amazing and staying at the Mirage Studios definitely made my holiday even better. I would definitely recommend staying in this hotel to anyone who is aged 18-25 and knows how to sesh cause no other hotel in Malia will get as lively as this one! ;) CYA!

Stayed in the mirage with my boyfriend this summer. We are both 21 and love a good night out. The apartments are located at the back of a niteclub which means they are EXTREMELY noisy. There are lots of clubs and bars on the main strip, each one booming their own music, and the music goes on until at least 7am EVERY night. Unless you want to stay out clubbing until 7am every night you will get absolutely no sleep in these apartments. We eventually managed to change accomodation but were very disappointed with the Mirage.

The apartments are supposed to be self-catering but the Mirage are very strict about consuming your own food and drink around the pool. There are signs up EVERYWHERE saying that you can only eat/drink stuff from the pool bar at the pool. This would obviously work out very very expensive if you were to do it for your whole holiday.

Also, we found it very hard to contact our rep. We were not introduced to them or given a time when they would visit the complex every day and the Mirage didnt even have the rep's phone number so we could ring them. At the end of the holiday the Mirage couldnt tell us what time our bus would collect us for the airport and seeing as we couldnt contact the rep, we had to get a taxi to the airport, costing us 50 euro.

I would never recommend the Mirage to anyone.

went to mirage very basic and clean but thats what you expect from a 18-30 hotel. ideal for groups going to party as its very central and we were really entertained around the pool by everyone. however if you want to relax or have an early night this is not the hotel for you. we had groups of lads banging on our door every night at about 4am looking for people that were on the floor up.
